Abstract
Description
・ 様々な部材102,104および106の間の漏れのない流体連通を提供するために、Oリング、平面ガスケット、フェルールまたはサムスクリューなどの余計な部材は必要ない。
・ マイクロ流体システム100により、液体の代わりに気体を流すことができる。
・ マザーボード114は、ヒータ110、アクチュエータ108等、並びにデータ収集およびシステム制御を提供する外部電子装置のための電気接続の全てを提供できる。
・ 全ての受動的(反応、検出、混合など)および能動的(ポンプ、バルブなど)機能をマイクロチップ部材106中に組み込むことができる。
・ ポンプ動作およびバルブ動作のための、マザーボード114上のどこかに配置できる、アクチュエータ108は、再利用でき、マザーボード114に容易に取付け、取外しができる。
・ 部材102,104,106,108,110および112は、さらに使用するために、損傷なく、容易に再配置、取付け、取外しが可能である。
・ マイクロチップおよびチャンネル部材102,104および106の全ては、使い捨て式であって差し支えなく、マザーボード114、アクチュエータ108、ヒータ110などは、費用を削減するために再利用できるものであり得る。
・ 集積マイクロ流体システム100の異なる構成を、容易に設計し、構築できる。

Claims (5)
- モジュール式マイクロ流体システムにおいて、
複数のチャンネルが中に形成された上面を有するマザーボード、
各々が前記マザーボード内のチャンネルの内の1つに配置できる大きさの少なくとも1つのチャンネル・インサート、
少なくとも1つの取付部材、および
前記少なくとも1つの取付部材により、前記少なくとも1つのチャンネル・インサートに連結される少なくとも1つのマイクロモジュール、
を備え、前記少なくとも1つのマイクロモジュール、前記少なくとも1つの取付部材、および前記少なくとも1つのチャンネル・インサートの間で流体連通していることを特徴とするモジュール式マイクロ流体システム。 - 前記少なくとも1つの取付部材が第1の端部と第2の端部を有し、該第1の端部がマイクロモジュールと一体となり、前記第2の端部が前記少なくとも1つのチャンネル・インサート内の孔と連結して、逆目取付部、テーパー取付部、ルアー取付部またはルアーロック取付部を形成するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のモジュール式マイクロ流体システム。
- 少なくとも1つのヒータをさらに備え、各ヒータが、前記マザーボードと前記少なくとも1つのマイクロモジュールの内の1つとの間に配置されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のモジュール式マイクロ流体システム。
- 少なくとも1つのポンプ−バルブアクチュエータをさらに備え、各ポンプ−バルブアクチュエータが、前記マザーボードと、中にマイクロチャンネルが形成された前記少なくとも1つのマイクロモジュールの内の1つとの間に配置されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のモジュール式マイクロ流体システム。
- 少なくとも1つの電気接触ユニットをさらに備え、各電気接触ユニットが、前記マザーボードと前記少なくとも1つのマイクロモジュールの内の1つとの間に配置されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のモジュール式マイクロ流体システム。
