Abstract
ホウ素は電気的に不活性であるため、電気化学的手法を用いた簡便な分析方法は確立されていなかった。
【解決手段】
電気化学的に不活性な液体中のホウ酸にアゾメチンHおよび1−アミノ−8−ナフトール−3,6−ジスルホン酸(以下、H酸と記する。)、または、サリチルアルデヒドおよびH酸を加えて、電気化学的に活性なホウ酸−アゾメチンH錯体を生成させ、この錯体の濃度をボルタンメトリーを用いて測定することを特徴とするホウ素の分析方法。

Description
アゾメチンH、サリチルアルデヒド、H酸は5mmol/dm3、ホウ酸はホウ素濃度として1mg/dm3となる様、それぞれの検体を調製して使用した。
また、サリチルアルデヒドおよびH酸を使用する場合、サリチルアルデヒドを1〜10mmol/dm3、望ましくは2mmol/dm3程度、H酸を1〜100mmol/dm3、望ましくは20mmol/dm3程度となるように検体に添加すれば良い。
本発明のホウ素の分析方法を用いた場合、繰り返し測定によるセンサーの感度低下は生じず、従来技術のホウ酸−タイロン錯体を利用したボルタンメトリーで課題となったセンサーの保守作業は不要となる。
なお、ホウ素濃度が10mg/dm3を超過するような排水処理システム等に適用する場合は、検体の前処理として、精製水による希釈操作を行った後に測定を行えば良い。
Claims (5)
- 電気化学的に不活性な液体中のホウ酸にアゾメチンHおよび1−アミノ−8−ナフトール−3,6−ジスルホン酸(以下、H酸と記する。)、または、サリチルアルデヒドおよびH酸を加えて、電気化学的に活性なホウ酸−アゾメチンH錯体を生成させ、この錯体の濃度をボルタンメトリーを用いて測定することを特徴とするホウ素の分析方法。
- 検体中のモル濃度として、アゾメチンHまたは、サリチルアルデヒドに対するH酸の割合を1:1〜1:50の比率で添加する請求項1記載のホウ素の分析方法。
- アゾメチンHが1〜10mmol/dm3、H酸が1〜100mmol/dm3の濃度範囲内となるように検体に添加する請求項1記載のホウ素の分析方法。
- サリチルアルデヒドが1〜10mmol/dm3、H酸を1〜100mmol/dm3の濃度範囲内となるように検体に添加する請求項1記載のホウ素の分析方法。
- −100〜―1,500mVの還元電位を印加するボルタンメトリーを利用した請求項1記載のホウ素の分析方法。
