Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an indicator label for clothing which can be easily detached in order to eliminate, when using clothing whereon an indicator label indicating quality and the like is sewn, uncomfortable feeling of the label such as incongruity or scratchy feeling to the skin, and to provide a method of attaching the indicator label. <P>SOLUTION: The indicator label for clothing is constituted of a plain-woven indication area part, and a stitching part to be sewn on the clothing. The stitching part includes a one-direction thread part composed only of the warp or the weft, and a plain-woven auxiliary cloth part having the warp and the weft. Description

The present invention relates to an improvement of a display label sewn on clothing.

Labels that display the quality sewn on clothing are strongly felt by children and elderly people, especially those with sensitive skin with skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis, as the label rubs. In some cases, unintentional scratching from the discomfort may cause irritation to the skin. For this reason, the vicious cycle of further scratching was often repeated.

In general, most of the ready-made garments have a display label sewn on the garment at the time of over-edge sewing of the garment.

Even if such a display label was cut along the stitched portion with scissors, it was not possible to remove the portion at the end of the edge-sewn label. The label cut surface of the label left in the edge stitched portion hits the skin, which sometimes increases the tingling feeling and discomfort to the skin.

In order to remove all the display labels from the stitched portion, it is necessary to cut off the thread of the edge stitch with scissors. However, this work is very time-consuming. In addition, for elderly people who have weak vision and have difficulty in seeing their hands, it is difficult to see the thread when cutting the thread, and for this reason, the cloth of clothing may be cut together with the thread or not. Further, when the thread is cut and removed, an opening of several centimeters is generated at the edge stitched portion of the clothing. For this reason, the work of repairing the open edge stitched portion is required, which is troublesome and has a poor appearance.

In many ready-made garments, the garment and the display label are sewn at the same time by edge stitching using an overlock sewing machine. In the present invention, in order to eliminate this unpleasant feeling, the display label 1 is composed of a display area portion 2 and a stitching portion 3 that is sewn to clothing, and the stitching portion includes a one-way thread portion 31 and a warp yarn only for the weft. And the auxiliary cloth portion 32 having the weft, and the one-way yarn portion is adjacent to the display region portion. This one-way thread portion is sewn to the garment side sewn portion 51 (see FIG. 3) by the edge stitching 33. Due to the function of the overlock sewing machine at the time of sewing, the excess portion of the clothing end cloth 52 and the auxiliary cloth portion 32 is cut off simultaneously. Since the auxiliary cloth part is cut off, it can be easily removed by the shape of the one-way thread part simply by pinching the display area part and pulling it out from the edge stitched part (see FIG. 4). By removing the display label, there is no discomfort such as a sense of incongruity or tingling, and inflammation such as scratches is eliminated.

Elderly people and people with low vision are no longer required to cut the thread of the sewn label, and they do not mistakenly cut the clothing. This makes it easy for elderly people and children to remove.

The clothing and display label that were sewn at the same time were cut off when the auxiliary cloth part was sewn, so that the one-way thread part could be pulled out from the edge stitching by simply pulling the label (see Fig. 4), without cutting the thread. The label can be removed. Since the edge stitches are not cut, the edge of the clothing itself is not opened, and it does not take time to repair.

A first embodiment will be described below with reference to FIGS.
A display label 1 made of woven fabric to be attached to a clothing side portion is composed of a plain weave display area portion 2 and stitched portions 3 provided on both sides of the display area portion. The display area 2 displays information such as the quality (100% cotton, 100% silk, etc.), size, washing method, etc. of the garment to which the display label 1 is sewn. The stitching portion 3 is composed of a unidirectional yarn portion 31 having only a weft and a plain weave auxiliary fabric portion 32 having warp and weft.

The horizontal width of the plain weave display area 2 is 60 mm to 100 mm. The stitching portion 3 is provided with a unidirectional yarn portion 31 of only a weft in a width of about 10 mm, and a plain weave auxiliary cloth portion 32 having a warp and a weft on both sides adjacent to the display region portion 2 is provided in a width of about 5 mm. .

The display label 1 is sewn at one end because the sewn portion is a clothing side portion (see FIG. 9). Therefore, as shown in FIG. 2, the display label 1 is folded in half at the position of the fold line 4 and the stitching portion 3 is overlapped, and this overlapped one end portion is set as a sewing location. The one-way thread portion 31 and the auxiliary cloth portion 32 on the front surface and the back surface of the overlapped stitching portion 3 are both positioned at the same place. By folding it in half, indications such as quality indication, size indication and washing indication are displayed on the front and back sides of the label.

A one-way thread portion 31 in which the front and back surfaces of the two-fold display label 1 are overlapped is sewn to the garment side sewn portion 51 as shown in FIG. At this time, the plain cloth auxiliary cloth portion 32 is cut off simultaneously with the clothing end cloth 52 by the function of the overlock sewing machine.

When discomfort such as discomfort to the skin or a tingling sensation occurs when using the garment to which the display label of the present invention is sewn, if the display area 2 is folded and pulled as shown in FIG. The display label 6 attached to the garment neck rear part is composed of a plain weave display area part 7 and stitched parts 8 provided on both sides of the display area part. As shown in FIG. 7, the display label 6 arranged in FIG. 6 is sewn on the overlapped one-way thread portion 81 (83) according to the sewing position 10 to the rear part of the clothing neck (see FIG. 9).

If discomfort such as discomfort to the skin or a tingling sensation occurs when using the garment to which the display label of the present invention is sewn, the one-way thread portion 81 (83) is placed in accordance with the label cutting position 11 shown in FIG. Cutting and pinching the plain weave auxiliary cloth portion 82 and pulling it to the right (see FIG. 8) allows easy removal due to the shape of the one-way thread portion 81 (83). The label can be easily removed by performing the same process on the left end side of the label.
