Description
a)ボックスのねじ部分内にピンのねじ部分を差し込む段階と、
b)第1及び第2の当たりショルダーが当たるまでボックス内でピンを組み付けるためのトルクを適用する段階と、
c)継手の最も応力を受る部分において鋼の降伏強度50%と90%との間の大きさに達するまで割増トルクを適用する段階とを具備する方法により達成される。
ピン又はボックスの一方のねじの谷底とピン又はボックスの他方のねじの山の頂との間の、ピンとボックスの呼び寸法に従って寸法の定められた締め代が、パイプ壁の平均厚さの1%と5%との間に含まれ、更にねじの高さの約1/4の値を有する谷底から荷重フランクへの半径が設けられる、ねじ込み継手により達成される。
a)耐疲労特性を改善するために谷底対山の頂の締め代による半径方向の大きい荷重、いわゆるフープ荷重の付与;
b)耐疲労特性を改善するための大きいショルダー荷重の付与;
c)ネジの谷底の応力集中を低下させる谷底からフランクへの大きい半径Rの付与;
d)加えて、主にショットピーニングよりなるピン及びボックスの表面の適切な表面処理が継手の耐疲労特性を更に向上させる。
−ねじの断面半径(0.2,0.3mm)
−ねじの締め代(連結部の平均厚さの0.9%、4%)
−表面処理(ショットピーニング処理、無処理)
−総合重量の慣性によるショルダー部におけるトルクの目標値(16270Nm(12000ft−lbs)以下、24400Nm(18000ft−lbs)以上)

1)トルクの傾斜が急激に増加するトルクショルダー点dは、組み付けが、ピン2のショルダー6とボックス3のショルダー7とが当たるショルダーリング位置に達したことを示す。この点dは、ねじの締め代が加えられるトルクに対する特有の抵抗であった曲線11の第1の部分の終点を示す。
2)この曲線は、点dから組み付けの終了を示す最終トルク点fまでの間、曲線のそれまでの部分と比べて回転量に対するトルクの上昇が急激なため実際上は垂直線となる。この理由は、軸方向の締め代を克服しなければならず相当するトルクエネルギーを消費するためである。このエネルギーは継手における弾性エネルギーとして蓄えられるであろう。
Claims (7)
- ピンとして定められ雄ねじの設けられたチューブ(2)、及び
ボックスとして定められ雌ねじの設けられたチューブ(3)
が設けられたねじ込み継手の組み付け方法であって、
ピンには第1の当たりショルダーが設けられ、
ボックスには第2の当たりショルダーが設けられ、
第1及び第2の当たりショルダーは相補する形状を有し、
ピンがボックスに組み付けられるようにされたねじ込み継手の組み付け方法において、
a)ボックスのねじ部分内にピンのねじ部分を差し込む段階と、
b)第1及び第2の当たりショルダーが当たるまで、ボックスにピンを組み付けるためのトルクを適用する段階と、
c)継手の最も応力を受る部分において鋼の降伏強度の50%と90%との間の大きさに達するまで割増のトルクを適用する段階と、
を具備する方法。 - ピン又はボックスのいずれか一方のねじの谷底及びピン及びボックスの他方のものの対応するねじの山の頂が、ピン及びボックスの呼び寸法に従って寸法が定められ、継手の平均厚さの1%と5%の間を含む半径方向の締め代を有する請求項1による方法。
- 継手がショットピーニングを含む表面処理を有する請求項2による方法。
- 前記ショットピーニングが、ピン(2)のねじ区域の始点及び終点に適用される請求項3による方法。
- ピンとして定められ雄ねじの設けられたチューブ(2)、及びボックスとして定められ雌ねじの設けられたチューブ(3)を備え、ピンには第1の当たりショルダーが(6)が設けられ、ボックスには第2の当たりショルダー(7)が設けられ、第1及び第2の当たりショルダーが相補する形状を有し、ピン(2)がボックス(3)内に組み付けられるようにされているねじ込み継手であって、
ピン又はボックスのいずれか一方のねじの谷底とピン又はボックスの他方のねじの山の頂との間の、ピンとボックスの呼び寸法に従って寸法の定められた締め代が、継手の平均厚さの1%と5%との間に含まれ、かつねじの高さの約1/4の値を有する谷底から荷重フランクへの半径(R)が設けられる、ねじ込み継手。 - 半径(R)が0.20と0.40mmとの間の値を有する請求項5によるねじ込み継手。
- 半径(R)が0.30mmの値を有する請求項6によるねじ込み継手。
