Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 無線ネットワークで空間分割多重アクセスを提供する方法であって、
セルセグメント内で複数のビームを伝送し、
対応する複数のビームで異なる情報セットを送信し、前記情報セットの1つ以上は、前記セルセグメントでの移動局の位置に応じて移動局により検出可能であり、
前記異なる情報セットのうちどれが前記移動局により検出されたかに応じた指標を受信し、
前記受信した指標に従って前記複数のビームの中からビーム選択を実行することを有する方法。 - 前記指標を受信することは、
前記情報セットのうち第1のものが前記移動局により検出されたが、前記情報セットのうち第2のものが検出されない場合、第1の指標を受信し、
前記第2の情報セットが前記移動局により検出されたが、前記第1の情報セットが検出されない場合、第2の指標を受信し、
前記第1及び第2の情報セットの双方が前記移動局により検出された場合、第3の指標を受信することを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記指標を受信することは、プリコーディング行列インデックスを受信することを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記伝送すること、前記送信すること、前記受信すること及び前記実行することは、LTE(Long Term Evolution)無線ネットワークの基地局により実行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 対応する複数のビームに関連する1つ以上の信号品質メトリックを前記移動局から受信することを更に有し、
前記ビーム選択を実行することは、更に前記1つ以上の信号品質メトリックに従う、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記1つ以上の信号品質メトリックを受信することは、1つ以上のチャネル品質インジケータ(CQI)を受信することを有する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記異なる情報セットを送信することは、異なる参照信号構成を送信することを有し、
前記異なる参照信号構成のそれぞれは、同じ一式のパイロットを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記異なる参照信号構成は、一式のパイロットのうち少なくとも1つのパイロットについて異なる位相を使用する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記ビーム選択を実行することは、下りリンクビーム選択を実行することを有し、
前記方法は、
基地局により、前記移動局から参照信号を受信し、
前記基地局による前記参照信号に基づいて、上りリンクデータを通信するために複数のビームの中からビームを決定することを更に有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 無線チャネルによりサポート可能なレイヤの数を示すランク情報を受信し、
前記指標及びランク情報に基づいて動作モードを選択することを更に有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記モードを選択することは、SIMO(single input multiple output)モード、ダイバーシチモード及びMIMO(multiple input multiple output)モードの中から選択することを有する、請求項10に記載の方法。
- メッセージを前記移動局に送信し、前記メッセージは、復調参照信号に適用するサイクリックシフト量を示し、
前記適用されたサイクリックシフト量を有する前記復調参照信号を前記移動局から受信することを更に有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記適用されたサイクリックシフト量は無く、
前記方法は、
第2のメッセージを第2の移動局に送信することを更に有し、
前記第2のメッセージは、前記第2の移動局により送信される復調参照信号に適用されるゼロでないサイクリックシフトを示す、請求項12に記載の方法。 - セルセグメントで通信される複数のビームを生成するアンテナアセンブリと、
プロセッサと、
を有する基地局であって、
前記プロセッサは、
各ビームの異なる情報セットをセルセクタの移動局に伝送し、前記移動局は、前記セルセクタでの前記移動局の位置に応じて前記情報セットのうち1つ以上を検出可能であり、
前記異なる情報セットのうちどれが前記移動局により検出されたかに応じた指標を受信し、
下りリンクデータを前記移動局に通信するために、前記受信した指標に従って前記複数のビームの中から1つ以上のビームを選択する基地局。 - 前記プロセッサは、更に、
ランク情報及びビーム品質メトリックを前記移動局から受信し、
前記下りリンクデータを通信するために、複数のモードの中からモードを選択する、請求項14に記載の基地局。 - 前記選択されたモードは、SIMO(single input multiple output)モード、ダイバーシチモード及びMIMO(multiple input multiple output)モードのうち1つである、請求項15に記載の基地局。
- 前記プロセッサは、更に、
サウンディング参照信号を前記移動局から受信し、
前記受信したサウンディング参照信号に基づいて前記複数のビームのうちどれを上りリンクデータの通信に使用するかを決定する、請求項14に記載の基地局。 - 前記プロセッサは、ダイバーシチモードで特定の制御信号を前記移動局に通信する、請求項14に記載の基地局。
- 命令を含む少なくとも1つのコンピュータ可読記憶媒体を有する物品であって、
前記命令は、基地局により実行されたときに、前記基地局に対して、
セルセグメント内で複数のビームを伝送させ、
対応する複数のビームで異なる情報セットを送信させ、前記情報セットの1つ以上は、前記セルセグメントでの移動局の位置に応じて移動局により検出可能であり、
前記異なる情報セットのうちどれが前記移動局により検出されたかに応じた指標を受信させ、
前記受信した指標に従って前記複数のビームの中からビーム選択を実行させる物品。 - 前記命令は、実行されたときに、前記基地局に対して、データを通信するモードを更に選択させ、
前記選択されたモードは、SIMO(single input multiple output)モード、ダイバーシチモード及びMIMO(multiple input multiple output)モードのうち1つである、請求項19に記載の物品。
