Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の実施の形態によれば、プリフォーム300、400、900及びプリフォーム300、400、900の作製用の金型スタック600、1000が提供される。例えば、後続のブロー成形に適したプリフォーム300、400、900が提供される。プリフォーム300、400、900は、ネック部302、402、902と、ゲート部306、406、906と、上記ネック部302、402、902及び上記ゲート部306、406、906間に延びる本体部304、404、904とを備え、ゲート部306、406、906は実質的に円錐形の形状を伴う。例示的な実施の形態では、実質的に円錐状の形状は、ブロー成形プロセスの再加熱段階中に用いられる光線206の屈折角を実質的に均一にするように選択される。
Description
Claims (27)
- 後続のブロー成形に適したプリフォームであって、
ネック部と、
ゲート部と、
前記ネック部及び前記ゲート部間に延びる本体部とを備え、
前記ゲート部は、実質的に円錐状の形状を伴う、プリフォーム。 - 前記実質的に円錐状の形状は、ブロー成形プロセスの再加熱段階中に用いられる光線の屈折角を実質的に均一にするように選択される、請求項1に記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記実質的に円錐状の形状は、ホットランナノズルのオリフィスに実質的に対応するサイズを有する痕跡部で終端する、請求項1に記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記ゲート部は、実質的に均一な肉厚を有する、請求項1に記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記ゲート部は、実質的に不均一な肉厚を有する、請求項1に記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記ゲート部は、第1の部分に沿った第1の肉厚及び第2の部分に沿った第2の肉厚を伴い、前記第2の肉厚は、前記第1の肉厚よりも厚く、前記第2の部分は、前記第1の部分よりも前記ゲート部と前記本体部との間の分割線の近くに位置付けられる、請求項5に記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記実質的に円錐状の形状は、少なくとも1つの内部湾曲セクションを備える、請求項1に記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの内部湾曲セクションは、前記ゲート部の痕跡部に近接した内面上に位置付けられる単一湾曲セクションを備える、請求項7に記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記実質的に円錐状の形状は、仮想中心線と前記実質的に円錐状の形状の内面との間に画定される角度を伴う、請求項1に記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記角度は、ブロー成形プロセスの再加熱段階中に用いられる光線の屈折角を実質的に均一にするように、前記プリフォームの形成に用いられる材料の屈折率の関数として計算される、請求項9に記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記角度は、ブロー成形プロセスの再加熱段階中に用いられる光線の屈折角を実質的に均一にするように、(i)前記プリフォームの形成に用いられる材料の屈折率、(ii)充填速度、及び(iii)用いられる材料の重量の少なくとも1つの関数として計算される、請求項9に記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記実質的に円錐状の形状は、第1の円錐及び第2の円錐を備える、請求項11に記載のプリフォーム。
- 前記第1の円錐は、仮想中心線と前記実質的に円錐状の形状の内面との間に画定される第1の角度を伴い、前記第2の円錐は、前記仮想中心線と前記実質的に円錐状の形状の前記内面との間に画定される第2の角度を伴う、請求項12に記載のプリフォーム。
- プリフォームの内面を画定するコアインサートと、
前記プリフォームのネック部の外面を画定する割り型インサート対と、
前記プリフォームの本体部の前記外面を画定するキャビティインサートと、
前記プリフォームのゲート部の前記外面を画定するゲートインサートとを備え、
前記コアインサート及び前記ゲートインサートは、使用時に協働して第1の実質的に円錐状の形状を有する前記プリフォームの前記ゲート部を画定するように構成される、金型スタック。 - 前記コアインサートは、第1のキャビティ画定部を備え、前記第1のキャビティ画定部は、第2の実質的に円錐状の形状を有するゲート画定部を備える、請求項14に記載の金型スタック。
- 前記第1の実質的に円錐状の形状は、第1の円錐及び第2の円錐を備え、前記第2の実質的に円錐状の形状は、第1の円錐部(1010a)及び第2の円錐部を備える、請求項15に記載の金型スタック。
- 前記ゲートインサートは、第2のキャビティ画定部を備え、前記第2のキャビティ画定部は、実質的に逆円錐状の形状を有する、請求項14に記載の金型スタック。
- 前記第1の実質的に円錐状の形状は、第1の円錐及び第2の円錐を備え、前記実質的に逆円錐状の形状は、第1の円錐セグメント及び第2の円錐セグメントを備える、請求項17に記載の金型スタック。
- 前記キャビティインサート及び前記ゲートインサートは一体形成される、請求項14に記載の金型スタック。
- ネック部と、ゲート部と、それらの間に延びる本体部とを含むプリフォームの一部を使用時に画定する、コアインサートであって、

ブロー成形に適したプリフォームのゲート部の形状であって、ブロー成形プロセスの再加熱段階中の光線のセットの少なくとも一部の屈折角を少なくとも実質的に均一にするように選択された前記形状を選択し、
前記形状を含むように前記金型スタックの前記少なくとも一部を製造する、方法。 - 前記少なくとも一部は、コアインサート及びゲートインサートの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記選択は、用いられる成形材料の屈折率、充填速度、及び用いられる成形材料の重量の少なくとも1つに基づいて前記形状を決定することを含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記形状は実質的に円錐状の形状を含む、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載のプリフォームから作製される最終形状品。
- 後続のブロー成形に適したプリフォームであって、
ネック部と、
ゲート部と、
前記ネック部及び前記ゲート部間に延びる本体部とを備え、
前記ゲート部は、ブロー成形プロセスの再加熱段階中に用いられる光線の屈折角を実質的に均一にするように選択される形状を伴う、プリフォーム。
