Abstract
Description
本発明は、上述において提案される光導体に対する2つの構造に制限されない。代わりに、後方表面及び前方表面の両方を通って光が抽出される多くの構造は、本発明の使用において意図される。例えば、前方表面204における溝209の代わりに、あるいはそれに加えて、後方表面203において溝を有する図2中の光導体201の変形も、正常に機能する。光抽出構造はまた、光導体201へとモールドされた反射表面の形状でもあり得る。
本発明の発光装置は、織物基板からの光放射を得るよう所望されるいかなる適用においても使用され得る。かかる適用の例に制限的ではなく含まれるのは、家具装飾品等である動的照明、カーテン、カーペット、バッグ又はバックパック等である一体にされたディスプレイを有するアクセサリ及び着用可能な衣類、例えば座瘡治療、創傷治療、鎮痛、乳幼児黄疸等に対する着用可能な衣類である光子療法に対する織物製品などである。例えば、光子療法を必要とする人間又は人間ではない動物である患者は、患者の皮膚に対面する光導体を有する本発明の発光装置を収容する衣類を着用し得る。作動中、装置の発光素子が光を発するとき、患者は、光子療法を受ける。
Claims (13)
- 織物基板上に配置される光導体と発光素子とを有する発光装置であって、
該光導体は、前記織物基板に対面する後方表面と、前記織物基板からみて外方を向く前方表面と、受光表面と、を有し、
前記発光素子は、該発光素子によって発される光の少なくとも一部が前記受光表面を通って前記光導体へと結合されるよう配置され、また前記光導体における全内部反射を受け、
前記光導体は、該光導体へと結合される前記光の少なくとも一部が前記前方表面及び前記後方表面の少なくとも一方を通って前記光導体を出るよう配置される、
発光装置。 - 前記光導体は、前記織物基板の平面において二次元拡張を有する、
請求項1記載の発光装置。 - 前記織物基板は、反射性材料を有する、
請求項1又は2記載の発光装置。 - 前記光導体は、透過性接着材料を用いて前記織物基板に対して接着される、
請求項1乃至3のうちいずれか一項記載の発光装置。 - 前記接着材料の反射率は、周囲の外気の屈折率より高く、前記光導体の材料の屈折率より低い、
請求項4記載の発光装置。 - 前記光導体は、可撓性材料を有する、
請求項1乃至5のうちいずれか一項記載の発光装置。 - 前記発光素子は、前記受光表面に対して光学的に接着される、
請求項1乃至6のうちいずれか一項記載の発光装置。 - 前記発光素子は、前記光導体に組み込まれる、
請求項1乃至7のうちいずれか一項記載の発光装置。 - 反射性材料は、前記光導体と前記織物基板との間において配置される、
請求項1乃至8のうちいずれか一項記載の発光装置。 - 前記光導体の厚さは、前記受光表面からの距離と共に低減する、
請求項1乃至9のうちいずれか一項記載の発光装置。 - 前記光導体は、前記光導体における全内部反射を受ける光を前記後方表面及び前記前方表面のうち少なくとも一方を介して前記光導体から抽出するための光抽出構造を有する、
請求項1乃至10のうちいずれか一項記載の発光装置。 - 光子療法において使用される、
請求項1乃至11のうちいずれか一項記載の発光装置。 - 請求項1記載の発光装置を製造する方法であって、
織物基板上において発光素子及び光導体を配置する段階と、
該光導体の側部を所定の形状へとカットする段階と、
を有する方法。
