Claims (8)
- 少なくとも一つのソースドライバーに配置されて、対応のガンマ電圧を出力する複数個のガンマバッファーを配置する方法において、
各ガンマバッファーの消費電力を計算するステップを具備して、
計算された各ガンマバッファーの消費電力を用いてガンマバッファーのタブポイントを変更するステップと、
計算された各ガンマバッファーの消費電力を用いて、ガンマバッファーの位置を変更するステップと、
の少なくとも一つをさらに具備することを特徴とするガンマバッファー配置方法。 - 前記ガンマバッファーのタブポイントを変更するステップは、一番多い電力を消費するガンマバッファーに入力される電圧を、最も低い電力を消費する対応のガンマバッファーへ入力する電圧に変更する、請求項1に記載のガンマバッファー配置方法。
- 前記ガンマバッファーの位置を変更するステップは、一番多い電力を消費するガンマバッファーと、一番少ない電力を消費するガンマバッファーとを同一のソースドライバー集積回路に配置する、請求項1に記載のガンマバッファー配置方法。
- 前記ガンマバッファーの位置を変更するステップは、一番多い電力を消費するガンマバッファーを、対応するソースドライバー集積回路の外部に設けるステップをさらに具備する、請求項3に記載のガンマバッファー配置方法。
- 前記ソースドライバー集積回路の外部に設けられるガンマバッファーは、対応するソースドライバー集積回路と同じプリント回路基板上に設けられる、請求項4に記載のガンマバッファー配置方法。
- 少なくとも2個のガンマバッファーと、複数のガンマ電圧をバッファリングする複数個のソースドライバー集積回路とを具備して、
前記複数個のソースドライバー集積回路に含まれる各ガンマバッファーの消費電力を計算することで、各ガンマバッファーのうちで、一番多い電力を消費するガンマバッファーの位置と、一番少ない電力を消費するガンマバッファーの位置とが、同じソースドライバー集積回路に含まれるように互いに交換されることを特徴とするフラットパネルディスプレイ。 - 前記複数個のガンマバッファーのうちで一番多い電力を消費する少なくとも一つのガンマバッファーは、対応するソースドライバー集積回路の外部に設置される、請求項6に記載のフラットパネルディスプレイ。
- 前記対応のソースドライバー集積回路の外部に設置されるガンマバッファーは、前記対応するソースドライバーと同じプリント回路基板に含まれる、請求項7に記載のフラットパネルディスプレイ。
