Abstract
Description
本願は、2007年2月8日付で出願された米国特許仮出願第60/900,227号(その全体は参照により本明細書中に援用される)の利益を主張する。
優秀:外皮に均一に焦げ目が付き、カリカリに焼けている;焼け過ぎ、過剰な乾燥は見られなかった。
優良:中央部分に焦げ目が付き、カリカリに焼けている;外側の部分に焦げ目は付いたが、全体的な均一性を欠いていた。
良:中央部分に焦げ目が付き、カリカリに焼けている;外側の部分はわずかに焦げ目が付いたか、又は少しも焦げ目が付かなかった。
可:外皮の部分によっては、焼け過ぎ、及び/又は過剰な乾燥が生じた。
不可:外皮の大部分において、焼け過ぎ、及び/又は過剰な乾燥が生じた。
Claims (27)
- マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用断熱構造であって、該マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用断熱構造は、
第1のポリマーフィルム層上に支持されるマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料の層であって、該マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料は少なくとも1つの開口を囲む、マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料の層と、
前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料の層に接合される水分含有層と、
前記水分含有層に所定のパターンにおいて接合される第2のポリマーフィルム層であって、それによって前記水分含有層と該第2のポリマーフィルム層との間に複数の閉塞セルが画定される、第2のポリマーフィルム層と、
を備え、
前記水分含有層は、前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互材料の層と前記第2のポリマーフィルム層との間に配置される、マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用断熱構造。 - 前記閉塞セルは、マイクロ波エネルギーに反応して膨張するようになっている、請求項1に記載の構造。
- 前記開口は、前記開口に直に隣接する領域において前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料によって生成される熱を増加させる、請求項1又は2に記載の構造。
- 前記開口は、前記第1のポリマーフィルム層、前記水分含有層及び前記第2のポリマーフィルム層を貫通して延在する、請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の構造。
- 前記所定のパターンは、前記水分含有層と前記第2のポリマーフィルム層との間に配置される接着剤のラインによって画定される、請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の構造。
- 前記開口は前記接着剤のラインによって囲まれる、請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の構造。
- 前記開口は、約0.15インチ乃至約0.75インチの主一次元寸法を有する、請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の構造。
- 前記開口は、約0.25インチの主一次元寸法を有する、請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の構造。
- 前記開口は、約0.5インチの主一次元寸法を有する、請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の構造。
- 前記閉塞セルのうちの少なくともいくつかは、約0.5インチ乃至約1.5インチの主一次元寸法を有する、請求項1乃至9のいずれか一項に記載の構造。
- 前記開口は複数の開口のうちの第1の開口である、請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項に記載の構造。
- 前記複数の開口は、概ね中央に配置される開口を含む、請求項11に記載の構造。
- 前記複数の開口は、前記概ね中央に配置される開口の周囲に配置される複数の開口を含む、請求項12に記載の構造。
- 前記複数の開口はランダムな構成で配置される、請求項11に記載の構造。
- 前記水分含有層は紙、板紙又はそれらの任意の組み合わせを含む、請求項1乃至14のいずれか一項に記載の構造。
- 前記第2のポリマーフィルム層は、二軸延伸ポリエチレンテレフタレートを含む、請求項1乃至15のいずれか一項に記載の構造。
- マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用断熱構造であって、該マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用断熱構造は、
断熱層と重ね合わせられ、向かい合う関係で配置されるサセプタフィルムであって、該断熱層は、概ね閉じており、概ね蒸気不浸透性の複数の断熱セルを含む、サセプタフィルム
を備え、
複数の開口が前記サセプタフィルム及び前記断熱層を貫通して延在する、マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用断熱構造。 - 前記断熱層は、
寸法安定性のある水分供与層と、
前記断熱セルを画定するパターン化された構成で水分含有層に接合されるポリマーフィルム層とを備える、請求項17に記載の構造。 - 前記セルのうちの少なくともいくつかは、マイクロ波エネルギーが十分に照射されると膨らむ、請求項18に記載の構造。
- 前記サセプタフィルムは前記水分供与層に接合される、請求項18に記載の構造。
- 前記断熱層は、閉塞セルフォーム、気泡材料、又はそれらの任意の組み合わせを含む、請求項17に記載の構造。
- 前記構造は、或る全面積を有し、
前記開口は前記全面積の約5%乃至約20%を含む、請求項17乃至20のいずれか一項に記載の構造。 - 電子レンジにおいて食品を加熱する際に用いるシステムであって、該システムは、
食品を受容するためのプラットフォームと、
前記プラットフォームの上に重なるマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用断熱構造と、
を備え、
該マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用断熱構造は、
入射するマイクロ波エネルギーの少なくとも一部を熱エネルギーに変換するマイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料の層と、
前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料の層からの熱伝達を低減することができる複数の閉塞セルと、
前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料の層及び前記閉塞セルのうちの少なくともいくつかを貫通して延在する複数の開口と、
を備える、電子レンジにおいて食品を加熱する際に用いるシステム。 - 前記開口は、前記開口に直に隣接する領域において前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用材料によって生成される熱を増加させる、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 前記開口は、前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用断熱構造を通して通気を提供する、請求項22若しくは23に記載のシステム。
- 前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用断熱構造内の前記開口及び前記閉塞セルの相対的な面積は、前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用断熱構造上に置かれる食品の所望の程度の加熱、焦げ目付け、カリカリの焼き上げ及び/又は通気を提供するように選択される、請求項22乃至24のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記プラットフォームは、前記マイクロ波エネルギー相互作用断熱構造を貫通して延在する開口と整合する関係で配置される複数の開口を含む、請求項22乃至25のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
