Description
本発明は、超広帯域無線(UWB)装置、及び方法に関し、詳細には、受信した超広帯域無線シグナルを低いエラー率で復調する装置、及び方法に関する。
‐PCとその周辺機器、すなわち、ハードディスクドライブ、CDライター、プリンター、スキャナー、などの外付けデバイスとの間の通信
‐テレビ、及びワイヤレス手段、ワイヤレススピーカーなどで接続されるデバイス、などのホームエンターテイメント
‐携帯デバイス及びPCの間の通信、例えば、携帯電話及びPDA、デジタルカメラ及びMP3プレイヤー、など
本発明の理解を深めるために、及び本発明を実行することができる方法をより明確に示すために、例示のみの目的で、以下の図面について述べる。
Claims (8)
- 受信シグナルを処理する方法であって、該受信シグナルは、拡散技術を用いて送信機で形成された2若しくは3個以上のダイバーシティシグナルを含み、
前記方法は、
受信シグナルが伝送されたチャネルを推定するステップと、
推定チャネルの逆数を受信シグナルへ適用し、それによって、補償シグナル及び各チャネルでの推定ノイズを生成するステップと、
チャネル推定プロセスからの各チャネルでの推定ノイズを用いて、補償シグナルの復調への入力に重み付けをするステップとを有する方法。 - 最大比合成プロセスを実行して、復調の前に、前記2若しくは3個以上のダイバーシティシグナルを合成するステップを有し、該最大比合成プロセスの間、各チャネルの推定ノイズを用いて、前記2若しくは3個以上のダイバーシティシグナルに重み付けを行う、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記各チャネルの推定ノイズが、推定チャネルの逆数に基づいた近似である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記受信シグナルが、超広帯域無線シグナルである、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 送信機で拡散技術を用いて形成された2若しくは3個以上のダイバーシティシグナルを含む受信シグナルを処理する受信機であって、
前記シグナルが伝送されたチャネルを推定するチャネル推定手段と、
前記チャネル推定手段から得られた推定チャネルを逆数にする逆数化手段であって、該推定チャネルの逆数を前記受信シグナルへ適用して補償シグナルを生成する手段と、
復調の前に、各チャネルの推定ノイズを用いて前記補償シグナルに重み付けを行う手段であって、前記各チャネルの推定ノイズが、チャネル推定プロセスの逆数から取得される手段とを備える受信機。 - 最大比合成プロセスを実行して、復調の前に、前記の2若しくは3個以上のダイバーシティシグナルを合成する手段を備え、該最大比合成プロセスの間、前記各チャネルの推定ノイズを用いて、前記2若しくは3個以上のダイバーシティシグナルに重み付けを行う、請求項5に記載の受信機。
- 前記各チャネルの推定ノイズが、推定チャネルの逆数に基づいた近似である、請求項5又は6に記載の受信機。
- 前記受信機が、超広帯域無線シグナルを受信するための超広帯域無線受信機である、請求項5乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の受信機。
