Description
本出願は、2006年9月7日に出願された米国特許仮出願第60/843,469号の優先権の利益を受ける権利がある。その出願の開示内容は、ここに参照として統合される。
本開示は、医療画像システムにおいて使用される通信デバイスに関する。
本発明の種々の態様が、請求項に記載されている。
MRI画像法とCTスキャン法は、患者の身体の内部構造と流れの解析を、非侵襲的に可能にする、有用な診断ツールである。一般的にMRIは、患者の身体内部の分子が検出可能な周波数で共鳴するように、磁場が変化する領域内で患者の身体に高周波を印加することを必要とする。検出された周波数は、内部及び外部の構造の映像化を可能にするように処理される。CTスキャンは、一つの回転軸周りで撮影された、大量の一連の2次元X線画像から、患者の内部構造の3次元画像を生成することを必要とする。
Claims (24)
- 磁気及び放射線に不感応な通信デバイスと、
前記通信デバイスに接続されたセンサとを備え、
前記センサが、前記通信デバイスの活性化により医療画像システムによるスキャンを起動するように動作可能であることを特徴とする、医療画像システムにおいて使用される装置。 - 前記通信デバイスが携帯型である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記センサが、前記通信デバイスにより生成される患者の準備完了信号を検出するように動作可能である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記通信デバイスが空圧作動デバイスを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記通信デバイス及び前記センサに接続された空圧カプラをさらに含む、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記センサが圧力センサを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記圧力センサが圧力の変化を検出するように動作可能である、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記圧力センサが絶対圧力レベルを検出するように動作可能である、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記通信デバイスが光スイッチを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記通信デバイスが偏光子を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- さらに光導波路を含み、前記光導波路が前記通信デバイス及び前記センサに接続されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- さらに光トランスミッタ及び光導波路を含み、前記光導波路が前記光トランスミッタ及び前記通信デバイスに接続されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記センサが光検出器を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記光検出器が光の強度の変化を検出するように動作可能である、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記光検出器が光の偏光状態の変化を検出するように動作可能である、請求項13に記載の装置。
- 前記センサに接続されたプロセッサをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の装置。

- 前記患者の準備完了信号の検出が光信号の変化の検出を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 光信号の変化の検出が前記光信号の偏光状態の変化の検出を含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 光信号の変化の検出が光強度の変化の検出を含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 前記スキャンの自動的な起動が、前記患者の準備完了信号を前記医療画像システムが利用可能なものに変換して、前記変換された患者の準備完了信号を前記医療画像システムに送信することを含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
