Abstract
【解決手段】ハブユニット1(転がり軸受装置)の内軸3(回転部材)には、車両アウタ側に開口するとともに中心軸線L1回りに窪んだ形状の凹部3dが形成される。凹部3dは、中心軸線L1上に曲率中心O1,O2を位置させる円弧面3d1,3d2を繋ぎ合わせて形成される。円弧面3d1の曲率半径r1は、円弧面3d1を中心軸線L1と直交する投影面Pに投影させたときの円状投影面面で規定される開口半径R1に比して大きくなるように設定される。円弧面3d2の曲率半径r2は、円弧面3d2を中心軸線L1と直交する投影面Pに投影させたときの円状投影面で規定される開口半径R2に比して大きくなるように設定される。

Claims (2)
- 車両インナ側の車体側部材に固定される非回転部材と、前記非回転部材と同軸に配置されて車両アウタ側の車輪側部材を取り付ける回転部材とを備えた転がり軸受装置において、
前記回転部材には、車両アウタ側に開口するとともに中心軸線回りに窪んだ形状の凹部が形成され、該凹部は、前記中心軸線上に曲率中心を位置させる1又は2以上の円弧面を繋ぎ合わせて形成されており、該円弧面の曲率半径は、該円弧面を前記中心軸線と直交する投影面に投影させたときの円状投影面で規定される開口半径に比して大きくなるように設定されていることを特徴とする転がり軸受装置。 - 前記凹部が2以上の円弧面を繋ぎ合わせて形成されている場合、各円弧面は、車両インナ側に向かうに従って曲率が大きくなるように配置されている請求項1に記載の転がり軸受装置。
