Abstract
【解決手段】バックライトモジュール20は、蛍光ランプ32、LEDモジュール30、コントローラ22、ランプインバータ26、及びLEDドライバ24を有する。コントローラ22は、表示信号に従って第1及び第2の制御信号S_CFL、S_LEDを生成する。ランプインバータ26は、第1の制御信号S_CFLに従って蛍光ランプ32を駆動する。LEDドライバ24は、第2の制御信号S_LEDに従ってLEDモジュール30を駆動する。LEDモジュール30は、オン及びオフ時の蛍光ランプ32の輝度を補償するために、蛍光ランプ32に近接して組み込まれている。

Claims (10)
- 第1の光源と、
前記第1の光源に近接して組み込まれ、前記第1の光源がオン及びオフをされるときに該第1の光源の輝度を補償する第2の光源と、
表示信号に従って第1の制御信号及び第2の制御信号を生成するコントローラと、
前記第1の光源に電気的に接続され、前記第1の制御信号に従って前記第1の光源を駆動する第1の光駆動部と、
前記第2の光源に電気的に接続され、前記第2の制御信号に従って前記第2の光源を駆動する第2の光駆動部と
を有するバックライトモジュール。 - 前記第1の光源は蛍光ランプであり、前記第2の光源はLEDモジュールである、請求項1記載のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記第1の光駆動部はランプインバータであり、前記第2の光駆動部はLEDドライバである、請求項1記載のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記ランプインバータと前記コントローラとの間に電気的に接続されるフィードバック回路を更に有する、請求項3記載のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記第2の光源は、前記第1の光源がオンされるときにオンされ、前記第1の光源の輝度が安定するとオフされる、請求項1記載のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記第2の光源は、前記第1の光源がオフされるときにオンされ、前記第1の光源の輝度が完全に暗くなるとオフされる、請求項1記載のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記第2の光源の輝度応答時間は前記第1の光源の輝度応答時間より短い、請求項1記載のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記第1の光源の輝度応答時間はおよそ3ミリ秒である、請求項1記載のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記第2の光源の輝度応答時間はおよそ1マイクロ秒である、請求項1記載のバックライトモジュール。
- LCDの走査型バックライトモジュールで利用される請求項1記載のバックライトモジュール。
