Abstract
【解決手段】ベアセルと、回路基板121を備える保護回路モジュールと、保護回路モジュールの回路基板を覆う蓋板を備える金属材質の上部ケース130と、上部ケースの蓋板の外面上に形成されたケース絶縁層130bとを含む二次電池が提供される。また、前記二次電池は、上部ケースの蓋板が保護回路モジュールの回路基板と対向する下面を備え、ケース絶縁層が上部ケースの蓋板の下面上に形成されていてもよい。

Claims (13)
- ベアセルと、
回路基板を備える保護回路モジュールと、
前記保護回路モジュールの回路基板を覆う蓋板を備える金属材質の上部ケースと、
前記上部ケースの蓋板の外面上に形成されたケース絶縁層とを含むことを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記上部ケースの蓋板は、前記保護回路モジュールの回路基板と対向する下面を備え、前記ケース絶縁層は、前記上部ケースの蓋板の下面上に形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記保護回路モジュールの回路基板は、前記上部ケースの蓋板と対向する上面を備え、前記保護回路モジュールの回路基板の上面上に形成された回路基板絶縁層をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記上部ケースの蓋板は、前記保護回路モジュールの回路基板と対向する下面と、前記下面の反対面である上面とを備え、前記ケース絶縁層は前記上部ケースの蓋板の上面上に形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記上部ケースの蓋板は、前記保護回路モジュールの回路基板と対向する下面を備え、前記ケース絶縁層は前記上部ケースの下面上に形成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記回路基板絶縁層は、前記回路基板の上面に絶縁テープを付着させることによって形成されることを特徴とする請求項3〜5のいずれかに記載の二次電池。
- 前記絶縁テープは、前記上部ケースの下面にも付着する両面テープであることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の二次電池。
- 前記回路基板は二つ以上の端子パッドを備え、前記回路基板絶縁層には、前記回路基板の各端子パッドに対応して形成された二つ以上の露出孔が備えられ、前記上部ケースには、前記回路基板の各端子パッドに対応して形成された二つ以上の端子孔が備えられ、
前記回路基板絶縁層に形成された二つ以上の露出孔中の少なくとも一つは、前記上部ケースに形成された対応する端子孔より小さいことを特徴とする請求項3〜7のいずれかに記載の二次電池。 - 前記上部ケースに備えられた端子孔より小さく形成された前記露出孔に対応する前記端子パッドの極性は、前記ベアセルにおいて前記上部ケースと接触する部分の極性と反対であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ケース絶縁層は、パリレンコーティング層、ウレタンコーティング層、テフロン(登録商標)コーティング層、セラミックスコーティング層またはUVコーティング層であることを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の二次電池。
- 前記上部ケースはアルミニウム材質であり、前記ケース絶縁層はアノダイジングにより形成されることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の二次電池。
- 前記上部ケースは、ステンレススチール材質であることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の二次電池。
- 前記上部ケースは、プレス加工によって作製されることを特徴とする請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の二次電池。
