車両のボデーに設けられたサンルーフに対応する開口部を有し、該開口部の周縁に剛性を高めるための補強材が配設された天井材の端末構造において、
上記天井材は、基材と該基材の車室側の表面を覆う表皮とからなり、
上記補強材は、上記開口部の周縁において、上記基材の車室側とは反対側の表面及び該基材の端面を覆うように配設されていると共に、該基材の端面から突出するように延設され、該基材の端部よりも厚みが小さい補強延設部を有しており、
該補強延設部は、上記表皮を上記基材の端部から延出させてなる表皮延出部に包み込まれるように覆われ、該表皮延出部に覆われた上記補強延設部の先端部が開口端末部となっており、
該開口端末部は、上記天井材の上記開口部の周囲に位置するように上記ボデーに配設されたサンシェードのハウジング部材に近接していることを特徴とする天井材の端末構造。
