Abstract
微生物を用いた生物処理と微細気泡を用いた浮上分離とを組み合わせて、動植物油等を含む含油廃水の処理を可能にすることである。
【解決手段】
活性汚泥法と、微細気泡を用いた浮上分離による固液分離とを組み合わせて、放線菌や他の好気性微生物を含んだフロックを微細気泡を付着させて浮上させて分離し、浮上分離されたフロスを生物反応槽に戻すことにより、油分の分解能の高い微生物を処理系内に保持して、臭気の極めて少ない安定した処理を継続可能とする。

Claims (4)
- 動植物油を含む廃水を微生物を用いて生物的に処理する方法であって、
曝気槽に供給された廃水を放線菌を主体とする微生物の存在下においてエアーを吹き込みつつ攪拌して、前記廃水に含まれる動植物油、及び有機物を前記微生物の作用により分解して汚泥を発生させる曝気工程と、
当該曝気工程で処理された中間処理水と、微細気泡が混入された混気水とを混合させた状態で浮上分離槽内に収容して放置させることにより、前記微生物を含む汚泥を浮上させて最上層の汚泥層と当該最上層を除く部分の処理水層とを分離させる浮上分離工程と、
前記汚泥層が最上層に浮上して圧密状態となった後に、前記処理水層の処理水を槽外に排出させて放流する処理水放流工程と、
前記汚泥層に含まれる微生物を廃水に含まれる動植物油、及び有機物の分解に繰り返して使用するために、前記浮上分離槽内で浮上した前記汚泥層の少なくとも一部を前記曝気槽に返送する浮上汚泥返送工程と、
を含むことを特徴とする含油廃水処理方法。 - 前記曝気工程により汚泥が発生した曝気槽内の中間処理水を脱気槽に導いて放置することにより、内部の大きな気泡を除去した後に、微細気泡が混入された混気水と混合させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の含油廃水処理方法。
- 前記浮上分離工程で使用される混気水には、当該浮上分離工程で分離処理された処理水が循環使用されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の含油廃水処理方法。
- 前記混気水に含まれる微細気泡の量の調整により、処理水のSS濃度を調整することを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の含油廃水処理方法。
