Abstract
【解決手段】融接が必要とされる領域で鋳造作業時に選択的に粗大単結晶を成長させることによって超合金部品の割れを減少させる。鋳造品において下流の製造段階で融接が実施される位置に選択的に粗大単結晶を配置することによって、超合金の母材熱影響部での割れが低減又は解消し、粒界がなくなる。これは、鋳造品の設計要件の満足、品質の向上、修繕作業の減少、スクラップ解消に役立つ。

Description
Claims (12)
- 金属部品の溶接部及び母材熱影響部の割れを減少させる方法であって、融接が必要とされる領域で鋳造作業時に選択的に粗大単結晶を成長させる段階を含む方法。
- 前記単結晶粒の選択的成長が、結晶粒セレクタ部材を用いて関心領域で支配的に結晶粒を成長させる単結晶鋳造技術を用いて達成される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記融接が周囲温度の部品で実施される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記融接が、所要の温度に予熱された部品で実施される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記部品が300°F〜2200°Fの範囲内の温度に予熱される、請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記融接が、ティグ溶接(GTAW)、プラズマ溶接(PAW)、電子ビーム溶接(EBW)及びレーザビーム溶接/肉盛法を用いて、予熱して又は予熱なしで実施される、請求項1記載の方法。
- ワイヤ、シム又は粉体の形態の溶加材を用いる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記融接プロセスが、手動、半自動又は自動的に実施される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 固溶強化超合金、γ′強化超合金又は特定の性質を与えるための表面改質に用いられる合金から選択される溶加材を用いる、請求項7記載の方法。
- 前記金属部品が、産業用タービン又は航空タービンから選択されるガスタービン高温ガス流路部品である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記金属部品が超合金(ニッケル基及びコバルト基)材料からなる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記粗大単結晶が、前記部品の融接が必要とされる領域に位置する、請求項1記載の方法。
