Abstract

- 脊柱の椎骨に取付け可能な少なくとも2つの骨固定装置(20)を接続するための可撓性安定化装置であって、
エラストマー材料から作られた可撓性ロッド(10)を備え、
前記ロッドの表面には、前記エラストマー材料の一部を分離することによって生成された少なくとも1つの第1の窪み(12)が設けられている、可撓性安定化装置。 - 前記第1の窪み(12)は、その底面に平坦部(16)を含む溝として設けられている、請求項1に記載の可撓性安定化装置。
- 前記表面に第2の窪み(12,12′)が形成されており、
前記第2の窪みは、その底面に平坦部(16,16′)を含む溝として設けられている、請求項2に記載の可撓性安定化装置。 - 第1の溝と第2の溝とは、前記ロッドの同じ区間内の対向する側面に設けられている、請求項3に記載の可撓性安定化装置。

前記骨固定装置の各々のためにそれぞれ設けられたクランプ区間(14)を含み、前記ロッドの断面は、前記クランプ区間(14)の各々において同じで一定であり、
前記クランプ区間のうち2つの間にそれぞれ配置された少なくとも2つの中間区間をさらに含み、第1の前記中間区間は、前記少なくとも1つの第1の窪みを含み、第2の前記中間区間は、第2の窪みを含み、前記第2の窪みは、前記第1の窪みとは異なる特性を少なくとも1つ有する、請求項4、5、7、または8のいずれかに記載の可撓性安定化装置。 - 前記ロッドは、ポリシロキサン、ポリウレタン、ポリ(スチレン−ブロック−イソブチレン−ブロック−スチレン)(SIBS)、またはポリカーボネートウレタン(PCU)から作られている、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の可撓性安定化装置。
- 請求項1から10のいずれかに記載の可撓性安定化装置を製造するために、エラストマ
ー材料を含むロッド状要素(22,10a)から材料を分離するための工具(300;301)であって、
ソケットダイ(30;130,133)を備え、前記ソケットダイは、
前記ロッド状要素(22,10a)を収容するための第1のボア(32;132)と、
第1の打抜きプレス(40;140)を収容するための少なくとも1つの第2のボア(34;134)とを有し、
前記第1の打抜きプレスは、前記少なくとも1つの第2のボア内に嵌合し、前記第2のボアに対して移動可能であり、
前記第1のボアと前記少なくとも1つの第2のボアとは互いに交差して、前記移動可能な第1の打抜きプレス(40;140)により前記ロッド状要素から材料を打抜いて、窪み(12)を形成することを可能にする、工具。 - 第2の打抜きプレス(40′;140′)と、前記第2の打抜きプレスを収容するための第3のボア(34;134′)とをさらに備え、前記第2の打抜きプレスは、前記第3のボア内で移動可能であり、前記第2のボアおよび前記第3のボアはどちらも、平行に配置され、前記第1のボアの対向する側面上の位置で前記第1のボアと部分的に交差する、請求項11に記載の工具(300;301)。
