Description
[0002]本発明は一般に、患者の身体管腔内に植え込むようになされ、植え込み後分解し、最終的に身体に吸収される及び/又は排出されることを意図する医療デバイスに関する。より詳細には、本発明は、血管内に配置されて一時的にのみ存在することが必要とされるステントに適用可能である。
[0006]本発明は、配置された先の身体管腔内での残留時間を実質的に制限するために、十分に速い速度で分解するように構成されるステントなど分解可能な金属製医療デバイスを提供する。このデバイスは多孔性金属で形成され、その金属は、身体に悪影響を及ぼすことなくその金属が浸される体液と接触する際に腐食する、その傾向に対して選択され、多孔性は、このような流体と接触する表面積を増大させ、これによりその腐食速度を加速することに基づいている。金属及び多孔性の度合いを選択することにより、分解速度は、広範な用途に適応させることができる。
Claims (21)
- 多孔性の腐食可能金属で形成された植え込み可能で生分解可能な医療デバイス。
- 前記腐食可能金属が、植え込みの後接触する流体に曝される際、成長し剥げ落ちる非連続性の酸化被膜を形成する、請求項1に記載の植え込み可能医療デバイス。
- 前記金属が、少なくとも50%の多孔性を有する、請求項1に記載の植え込み可能医療デバイス。
- 前記金属が鉄を含む、請求項1に記載の植え込み可能医療デバイス。
- 前記金属が、植え込み後溶解する、請求項1に記載の植え込み可能医療デバイス。
- 前記金属が、1つ又は複数の内部ガルバニ対を形成する2つの金属の組み合わせを含む、請求項1に記載の植え込み可能医療デバイス。
- 前記2つの金属が、少なくとも約500mVの駆動力を有する内部対を形成する、請求項6に記載の植え込み可能医療デバイス。
- 前記医療デバイスの少なくとも一部に、分解可能ポリマーコーティングが塗布される、請求項1に記載の植え込み可能医療デバイス。
- 前記分解可能ポリマーコーティングが、前記医療デバイス全体に塗布される、請求項8に記載の植え込み可能医療デバイス。
- 前記ポリマーコーティングが、薬剤を添加されている、請求項8に記載の植え込み可能医療デバイス。
- 前記医療デバイスがステントを含む、請求項1に記載の植え込み可能医療デバイス。
- 多孔性の鉄から形成された植え込み可能ステント。
- 前記多孔性の鉄が、少なくとも50%の多孔性を有する、請求項12に記載の植え込み可能ステント。
- 前記ステントの少なくとも一部に配置されたポリマーコーティングをさらに有する、請求項12に記載のステント。
- 前記ポリマーコーティングが、生分解可能である、請求項14に記載のステント。
- 前記ポリマーコーティングが、薬剤を包含する、請求項14に記載のステント。
- 多孔性の構造を有し、少なくとも2つの金属で形成され、前記金属が、1つ又は複数の内部ガルバニ対を形成する植え込み可能ステント。
- 前記2つの金属が、少なくとも500mVの駆動力を有する1つ又は複数の内部ガルバニ対を形成する、請求項17に記載の植え込み可能ステント。
- 前記構造が、少なくとも50%の多孔性を有する、請求項17に記載の植え込み可能ステント。
- 前記ステントの少なくとも一部に配置されたポリマーコーティングをさらに有する、請求項16に記載の植え込み可能ステント。
- 前記ポリマーコーティングが、生分解可能である、請求項20に記載の植え込み可能ステント。
