Abstract
Description
Claims (19)
- 充分な大きさの機械的な力を受けるとひび割れを生じ又は破壊されて、そのひび割れを生じた時又は破壊された時に電磁エネルギーのバーストを発生するように構成されている圧電素子と、
前記圧電素子に接続されており、前記圧電素子から電磁エネルギーを受けてトリガー信号を放射するように構成されている変調回路と
を具備していることを特徴とする圧電式トリガー機構。 - 前記圧電素子を前記変調回路に接続しているコンディショニング回路を更に具備しており、当該コンディショニング回路が、前記電磁エネルギーのバーストに対応するエネルギー信号の調整するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の圧電式トリガー機構。
- 前記圧電素子は表面弾性波(SAW)変換器からなることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の圧電式トリガー機構。
- 前記変調回路は前記SAW変換器の電極からなることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の圧電式トリガー機構。
- 前記コンディショニング回路は、前記圧電素子によって発生されたエネルギーを蓄積して、その後に、前記圧電素子にひび割れが生じた又は前記圧電素子が破壊されたことの識別を可能とするように構成されたエネルギー蓄積素子を更に具備することを特徴とする請求項1から4の内の何れか1項に記載の圧電式トリガー機構。
- 前記変調回路は共振回路又はアンテナからなることを特徴とする請求項1から5の内の何れか1項に記載の圧電式トリガー機構。
- 前記コンディショニング回路は、前記圧電素子の出力を所定の閾値と比較するためのコンパレータ素子を更に具備することを特徴とする請求項1から6の内の何れか1項に記載の圧電式トリガー機構。
- 前記圧電素子が基板上に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1から7の内の何れか1項に記載の圧電式トリガー機構。
- 前記基板は接着剤の裏張りを有することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の圧電式トリガー機構。
- 地面と接触するトレッド部分を有するクラウンを具備する空気タイヤ構造体を更に具備しており、前記空気タイヤ構造体の過剰な撓みが前記圧電素子のひび割れ又は破壊を生じるように、前記圧電素子は、前記空気タイヤ構造体に関係した選択した場所に一体化されていることを特徴とする請求項1から9の内の何れか1項に記載の圧電式トリガー機構。
- 前記空気タイヤ構造体の過剰な撓みの発生は、空気圧不足、空気圧喪失及び激しい衝撃の内の何れか1つによって起こされることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の圧電式トリガー機構。
- 空気圧喪失の場合に前記空気タイヤ構造体のトレッド部分を支持するために、前記空気タイヤ構造体内部のホイールリム上に取り付けられるように構成されている安全支持体を更に具備することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の圧電式トリガー機構。
- 前記圧電素子は、前記安全支持体に関係した選択した場所に一体化されていることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の圧電式トリガー機構。
- 前記安全支持体は、ホイールリムの回りに嵌合するようになされた内側表面と、圧力喪失の場合にトレッド部分が接触するようになされた外側キャップとを有する環状本体を具備することを特徴とする請求項12又は13に記載の圧電式トリガー機構。
- 充分な大きさの機械的な力を受けるとひび割れを生じ又は破壊されるように構成されている圧電素子と、前記圧電素子に接続されており、破壊表示信号を放射するように構成されている変調回路とを設け、
前記圧電素子にひび割れが生じるか破壊されるときの前記破壊表示信号の送信を検出するための遠隔の受信器を設ける
ことを特徴とするトリガーイベントを検出する方法。 - 前記遠隔の受信器が前記圧電素子及び変調素子から前記破壊表示信号を受けたときに警報を中継することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記圧電素子及び変調素子を基板上に設け、前記基板を所与の表面に接着することを特徴とする請求項15又は16に記載の方法。
- 前記接着する工程は、タイヤ、タイヤ支持構造体、ガラスパネル、封止されたアクセス構造体、シートベルト及びエアバッグの内の選ばれた一つの表面と前記基板を一体化することからなることを特徴とする請求項15から17の内の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記変調素子から放射される信号が識別パターンを含んでいるように前記トリガー信号を処理することを特徴とする請求項15から18の内の何れか1項に記載の方法。
