Claims (5)
- 滑車繰り返し曲げ(CBOS)の耐疲労性が改善されたロープであって、前記ロープは高靱性繊維を含み、且つ、前記ロープ及び/または前記繊維が、アミノ官能性シリコーン樹脂と中和低分子量ポリエチレンとを含む組成物でコーティングされていることを特徴とする、前記ロープ。
- 前記高靱性繊維が、高靱性ポリエチレン繊維と、ポリオレフィン繊維ではない他の高靱性繊維とのブレンドを含み、前記他の繊維はアラミド繊維及び/または液晶コポリエステル繊維である、請求項1に記載のロープ。
- 前記組成物は、前記ロープの重量を基準として少なくとも約5重量パーセントの量で前記ロープ中に存在する、請求項2に記載のロープ。
- さらにフルオロポリマー繊維を含む、請求項2に記載のロープ。
- ロープの滑車繰り返し曲げ(CBOS)の疲労寿命を改善する方法であって、前記方法は、
高靱性繊維から前記ロープを製造する工程、及び
前記ロープ及び/または前記ロープを形成している前記繊維を、アミノ官能性シリコーン樹脂と中和低分子量ポリエチレンとを含む組成物でコーティングする工程
を含み、前記高靱性繊維は、高靱性ポリエチレン繊維と他の高靱性繊維とのブレンドを含み、前記他の高靱性繊維はアラミド繊維及び/または液晶コポリエステル繊維を含むことを特徴とする、前記方法。
