Claims (20)
- 固定用プレート部分、及び該固定用プレート部分に結合され長さ方向に沿って実質的に一様な第1の幅を有する末端部分及び長さ方向に沿って実質的に一様な第2の幅を有する手前側部分を有し、前記第1の幅が前記第2の幅よりも小さい骨髄内部分を備えた骨接合用副子。
- 前記骨髄内部分が、移行部分により前記固定用プレート部分に結合される請求項1の副子。
- 前記固定用プレート部分が、前記骨髄内部分の第2の平面と食い違った第1の平面を定める請求項1の副子。
- 前記固定用プレート部分が、長手方向の湾曲を有する請求項1の副子。
- 前記長手方向の湾曲が約5から約30cmの曲率半径を有する請求項4の副子。
- 前記固定用プレート部分が、1個又はそれ以上の固定具と結合するための1個又はそれ以上の固定用結合を有する請求項1の副子。
- 前記固定用プレート部分が、前記固定用プレート部分の両横側の一方又は双方にノッチを備える請求項1の副子。
- 前記手元側部分が実質的に長方形の断面を備える請求項1の副子。
- 前記手元側部分が、横方向の可撓性より大きい縦方向可撓性を有する請求項1の副子。
- 固定用プレート部分、及び該固定用プレート部分に結合され長さ方向に沿って実質的に一様な第1の幅を有する末端部分及び長さ方向に沿って実質的に一様な第2の幅を有する手元側部分を有し、第1の幅が前記第2の幅より小さい骨髄内部分を備えた骨接合用副子を準備する過程、
前記骨接合用副子の前記末端部分を前記骨の外側面の開口内に挿入する過程、
前記骨接合用副子を軸線上で回転させる過程、更に
前記骨接合用副子の前記手元側部分を前記骨の外側面の開口内に挿入する過程、
を有する、少なくも1カ所の骨折部位を有する骨を固定する方法。 - 1個又はそれ以上の固定具を使用して前記固定用プレート部分を前記骨に固定する過程を更に有する請求項10の方法。
- 前記開口が前記骨の骨折を含む請求項10の方法。
- 手術中に前記開口が形成される請求項10の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1カ所の骨折部位の前側に前記開口が形成される請求項13の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1カ所の骨折部位の後側に前記開口が形成される請求項13の方法。
- 前記開口が、前記少なくとも1カ所の骨折部位の少なくとも1カ所から約10−40mmに形成される請求項13の方法。
- 前記骨髄内部分が、前記少なくとも1カ所の骨折部位を横切って前記骨の骨髄内の穴に沿って伸びる請求項10の方法。
- 前記骨髄内部分及び前記骨の各が湾曲を有し、そして前記骨髄内部分の湾曲が前記骨の湾曲とは逆の状態で前記末端部分を前記骨の開口内に挿入する過程を更に有する請求項10の方法。
- 前記骨髄内部分の湾曲と前記骨の湾曲とを実質的に揃えるために前記骨髄内部分を軸線上で回転させる過程を更に有する請求項18の方法。
- 前記副子を軸線上で回転させる過程が、前記副子を軸線上で約180゜回転させることを含む請求項19の方法。
