Claims (15)

  1. 被験者における細胞外水指数を算定するシステムであって、
    少なくとも1つの波長の光を着目組織部位に向けて放射する手段であって、該放射された光の一部は該着目組織部位によって反射される、手段と、
    該着目組織部位によって反射された該光の少なくとも1つの波長を該着目組織部位から約1mm−約5mmの位置から検出する手段と、
    少なくとも1つの波長の光を参照組織部位に向けて放射する手段であって、該放射された光の一部は該参照組織部位によって反射される、手段と、
    該参照組織部位によって反射された該光の少なくとも1つの波長を該参照組織部位から約1mm−約5mmの位置から検出する手段と、
    該着目組織部位から検出された反射光および該参照組織部位から検出された反射光を処理し、該細胞外水指数を計算する手段
    を含む、システム
  2. 前記細胞外水指数は、血管内水分率f IV、間隙水分率f IS、細胞外水分率f EC、水分平衡指数Q、およびそれらの組み合わせから成る細胞外水指数の群から選択される、請求項1に記載のシステム
  3. 前記細胞外水指数は、血管内水分率の変化Δf IV、間隙水分率の変化Δf IS、細胞外水分率の変化f EC、水分平衡指数の変化ΔQ、およびそれらの組み合わせから成る該細胞外水指数の群から選択される、請求項1に記載のシステム
  4. 前記細胞外水指数を対照と比較する手段と、その比較から前記被験者の全身の前記少なくとも一部が脱水状態であるか、または水分過剰状態であるかを判断する手段とをさらに含む、請求項に記載のシステム
  5. 前記着目組織部位の前記静水圧は、前記参照組織部位の前記静水圧と異なる、請求項1に記載のシステム
  6. 1の検出器によって検出されたは、950−1400nm、1500−1800nm、および2000−2300nmから成る波長の群から選択される波長を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム
  7. 1の検出器によって検出された光の波長は、1180nm、1125nm、1168nm、1170nm、1185nm、1190nm、1230nm、1245nm、1250nm、1274nm、1275nm、1300nm、1330nm、1710nm、1730nm、1740nm、およびそれらの組み合わせから成る波長の群から選択される波長を含む、請求項に記載のシステム
  8. 前記着目組織部位と参照組織部位とは、異なる静水圧下にある実質的に同一部位にある、請求項1に記載のシステム
  9. 被験者における全身細胞外水指数を算定するためのシステムであって、
    該被験者の第1の組織部位における第1の局所的細胞外水指数を算定する手段と、
    該被験者の第2の組織部位における第2の局所的細胞外水指数を算定する手段と、
    該第1および第2の局所的細胞外水指数を処理し、全身の細胞外水指数を生成する手段
    を含む、システム
  10. 前記第1の局所的細胞外水指数算定する手段は、生体インピーダンス、経上皮水分喪失、粘弾性、赤外線、磁気共鳴、超音波、またはそれらの組み合わせを測定する手段を含む、請求項に記載のシステム
  11. 前記細胞外水指数は、血管内水分率f IV、間隙水分率f IS、細胞外水分率f EC、水分平衡指数Q、およびそれらの組み合わせから成る細胞外水指数の群から選択される、請求項に記載のシステム
  12. 前記細胞外水指数は、血管内水分率の変化Δf IV、間隙水分率の変化Δf IS、細胞外水分率の変化Δf EC、水分平衡指数の変化ΔQ、およびそれらの組み合わせから成る該細胞外水指数の群から選択される、請求項11に記載のシステム
  13. 被験者の全身流体指数を算定するシステムであって、
    着目組織部位における局所的流体指数を算定するように構成された局所的流体含有量プローブと、
    参照組織部位における局所的流体指数を算定するように構成された局所的流体含有量プローブと、
    処理デバイスであって、該処理デバイスは、着目組織部位における局所的流体指数を算定するように構成された局所的流体含有量プローブに操作可能に連結され、参照組織部位における局所的流体指数を算定するように構成された局所的流体含有量プローブに操作可能に連結され、着目組織部位における局所的流体指数および参照組織部位における局所的流体指数を処理し、全身の体内流体含有量指数を生成する、処理デバイス
    を備える、システム。
  14. 着目組織部位の静水圧を変える、組織参照部位の静水圧を変える、または着目組織部位および組織参照部位の静水圧を変えるように構成された組織圧縮器をさらに備える、請求項13に記載のシステム。
  15. 前記システムの少なくとも一部は、滅菌、除菌、使い捨て、取り替え、または修理が可能となるように構成される、請求項13に記載のシステム。
