Claims (37)
- 複数のスロットが配置されるハイポチューブと、該ハイポチューブの圧縮強度を変更するための強度変更手段とを備える医療器具。
- 前記強度変更手段は圧縮強度を可逆的に増大させる、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記強度変更手段が電気活性ポリマー要素を備える、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記電気活性ポリマー要素がハイポチューブの周囲に配置されるスリーブを備える、請求項3に記載の医療器具。
- 前記スリーブは、スリーブが収縮して複数のスロットのうち少なくとも1つに入り込む形態をとるように作動可能である、請求項4に記載の医療器具。
- 前記電気活性ポリマー要素が1つ以上の電気活性フィンガー部を備える、請求項3に記載の医療器具。
- 前記1つ以上の電気活性フィンガー部は、該1つ以上の電気活性フィンガー部が複数のスロットのうち少なくとも1つの内部に延びる形態をとるように作動可能である、請求項6に記載の医療器具。
- 前記強度変更手段は、複数のスロットのうち少なくとも1つのスロット内に配置される電気活性ポリマーを備える、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記電気活性ポリマーは、活性形態および非活性形態を有し、活性形態においては、電気活性ポリマーが少なくとも1つのスロットの少なくとも相当な部分を充填し、非活性形態においては、電気活性ポリマーが少なくとも1つのスロットの少なくとも相当な部分を充填しない、請求項8に記載の医療器具。
- 前記強度変更手段は、作動形態および非作動形態を有する形状記憶材料を含み、作動形態においては、前記形状記憶材料は複数のスロットのうち少なくとも1つのスロット内に延び、非作動形態においては、該形状記憶材料は前記少なくとも1つのスロット内に延びない、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記強度変更手段が軸方向においてハイポチューブと整合した長尺状スリーブを備え、該長尺状スリーブは、前記複数のスロットのうち1つ以上のスロット内に延びるように構成される1つ以上の要素を備える、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記長尺状スリーブが前記長尺状シャフト上に配置される、請求項11の医療器具。
- 前記長尺状スリーブおよびハイポチューブ間の相対移動により、前記1つ以上の要素が前記1つ以上のスロット内に延びる作動形態と、前記1つ以上の要素が前記1つ以上のスロットに延びない非作動形態とに移行することができる、請求項11に記載の医療器具。
- 複数のスロットが配置され、かつ内部を延びるルーメンを画定するハイポチューブと、該ハイポチューブ上に配置される電気活性ポリマースリーブとを備える医療器具。
- 前記電気活性ポリマースリーブに電流が流れると、利用できるイオンが電気活性ポリマースリーブに移動し、これにより電気活性ポリマースリーブが、ハイポチューブの複数のスロットのうち少なくとも1つのスロット内へ膨張する、請求項14に記載の医療器具。
- 電気活性ポリマースリーブが固定アニオンでドープされた電気活性ポリマーからなる、請求項15に記載の医療器具。
- 前記電気活性ポリマーがポリピロールからなり、固定アニオンがドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウムからなる、請求項16に記載の医療器具。
- 第1の壁およびこれに対向する第2の壁を有するスロットを含むハイポチューブと、前記第1の壁および第2の壁のうち少なくとも一方に配置される電気活性ポリマーとを備える医療器具。
- 前記電気活性ポリマーに電位差が生じると、利用できるイオンが電気活性ポリマーに移動し、これにより電気活性ポリマーが膨張して前記スロットの少なくとも相当な部分を充填する、請求項18に記載の医療器具。
- 前記電気活性ポリマーがドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウムでドープされたポリピロールからなる、請求項18に記載の医療器具。
- 複数のスロットが配置され、かつ内部にルーメンを画定するハイポチューブと、
前記ハイポチューブ上に配置されるスリーブと、
前記スリーブに形成される、電気化学的に作動させられる複数のフィンガー部と
を備える医療器具。 - 前記電気化学的に作動させられる複数のフィンガー部は弛緩形態と作動形態とを有し、弛緩形態においては前記複数のフィンガー部が前記複数のスロット内に延びず、作動状態においては、前記複数のフィンガー部のうち少なくとも1つが前記複数のスロットのうち少なくとも1つの内部に延びる、請求項21の医療器具。
- 前記スリーブに電位差が生じると、前記複数のフィンガー部のうち少なくとも1つが内方に屈曲し、これにより前記複数のスロットのうち少なくとも1つの内部に延びる、請求項22に記載の医療器具。
- 前記電気化学的に作動させられるフィンガー部が、電極層と、該電極層上に配置される電気活性ポリマーとを含む、請求項21に記載の医療器具。
- 前記電気活性ポリマーは、電位差が生じると、該電気活性ポリマーが利用できるイオンを受け入れて体積が増大するように構成される、請求項38に記載の医療器具。
- 前記電気活性ポリマーが固定アニオンでドープされた電気活性ポリマーからなる、請求項24に記載の医療器具。
- 前記電気活性ポリマーがポリピロールからなる、請求項26に記載の医療器具。
- 前記固定アニオンがドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウムからなる、請求項26に記載の医療器具。
- スロットが配置され、かつ第1の壁およびこれに対向する第2の壁を備えるハイポチューブと、
前記第1の壁および第2の壁のうち少なくとも一方に配置される電気活性ポリマーと、
前記ハイポチューブの周囲に配置される絶縁層と、
前記絶縁層の周囲に配置される導電性パターンと
を備える医療器具。 - 前記電気活性ポリマーは、前記ハイポチューブおよび導電性パターン間で電位差が生じると、利用できるイオンを受け取るように構成される、請求項29に記載の医療器具。
- 第1のスロットを有する第1のセクションおよび第2のスロットを有する第2のセクションを備えるハイポチューブと、
前記第1のスロットおよび第2のスロット内に配置される電気活性ポリマーと、
前記ハイポチューブの周囲に配置される絶縁層と、
前記ハイポチューブの第1のセクション近傍に配置される第1の導電性セクションおよび前記ハイポチューブの第2のセクション近傍に配置される第2の導電性セクションを備え、かつ前記絶縁層の周囲に配置される導電性パターンと
を備える医療器具。 - 前記電気活性ポリマーは、前記ハイポチューブおよび導電性パターン間に電位差が付与されると、利用できるイオンを受け取るように構成される、請求項31に記載の医療器具。
- 前記第1の導電性セクションが前記第2導電性セクションから電気的に絶縁される、請求項31に記載の医療器具。
- スロットが配置される非導電性ハイポチューブと、前記スロットはその内部に第1の壁およびこれに対向する側壁を備えることと、
前記第1の壁および第2の壁のうち少なくとも一方に配置される電気活性ポリマーと、
前記ハイポチューブ近傍に配置される第1の導電性手段と、
前記ハイポチューブの周囲に配置され、かつ前記第1の導電性手段から電気的に絶縁される第2の導電性手段と
を備える医療器具。 - 前記非導電性ハイポチューブが、その内部を延びるルーメンを画定し、前記第1の導電性手段が前記ルーメン内に配置される導電性ワイヤからなる、請求項34に記載の医療器具。
- 前記第2の導電性手段が、非導電性ハイポチューブの外面に配置される導電性パターンからなる、請求項35の医療器具。
- 前記第1の導電性パターンが前記非導電性ハイポチューブの外面に配置され、前記第2の導電性パターンが前記第1の導電性パターンの周囲に配置され、かつ前記医療器具が、前記第1の導電性パターンおよび第2の導電性パターンの間に配置される電気絶縁層をさらに備える、請求項34に記載の医療器具。
