Abstract
Description

Claims (10)
- イコライザ受信機およびレイク受信機を有する基地局を使用する通信方法であって、
受信信号を処理するために、前記イコライザ受信機または前記レイク受信機のうちの一方を選択するステップを含む方法。 - 所与の受信信号に対し、前記イコライザ受信機または前記レイク受信機のどちらがよりよい性能を実現することになるかを決定するステップと、前記イコライザ受信機または前記レイク受信機のうち、よりよい性能を実現することになる前記一方を選択するステップとを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記イコライザ受信機および前記レイク受信機それぞれを使用して、前記受信信号の処理に関連する性能メトリックを決定するステップと、前記決定された関連する性能メトリックに基づいて前記イコライザ受信機または前記レイク受信機のうちの前記一方を選択するステップとを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記イコライザ受信機および前記レイク受信機それぞれに関連する誤差エネルギーを求めるステップと、前記イコライザ受信機または前記レイク受信機のうち、関連する誤差エネルギーのより低い前記一方を選択するステップとを含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記受信信号のソースからパイロット信号を受信するステップと、
前記受信されたパイロット信号と対応する予期されるパイロット信号との差を決定するステップと、
前記決定された差を2乗して、それにより前記誤差エネルギーを決定するステップとを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。 - 複数のイコライザを使用するステップと、
予期される信号に対応するようイコライザ技術を適応させるために、現行のパケット間隔の間に前記複数のイコライザのうちの少なくとも第1のイコライザをトレーニングするステップと、
前記現行のパケット間隔の間に前記複数のイコライザのうちの第2のイコライザを使用して受信信号を処理するステップとを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 次に予期される信号に対応するようイコライザ技術を適応させるために、次のパケット間隔の間に前記複数のイコライザのうちの前記第2のイコライザをトレーニングするステップと、
前記次のパケット間隔の間に前記予期される信号を受信するステップと、
前記次のパケット間隔の間に前記複数のイコライザのうちの前記トレーニングされた第1のイコライザを使用して、前記受信された予期される信号を処理するステップとを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。 - K≧1であり、K+1個のイコライザがある場合に、K個のパケット間隔の間に前記トレーニングを実行するステップと、
前記現行のパケット間隔の間に前記複数のイコライザのうちのK個のイコライザをトレーニングするステップとを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。 - あるイコライザ長を有するイコライザを使用するステップと、
前記イコライザに対して少なくとも1つの信号を通信するために使用されるチャネルの選択された特性を決定するステップと、
前記決定された特性に対応する前記イコライザ長に関して所望の値を決定するステップとを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記選択された特性として前記チャネルの遅延幅を決定するステップを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
