Abstract
Description
Claims (11)
- 水塊上の表面波に含まれるエネルギーを有用なエネルギーに変換する波力エネルギー変換器(WEC)であって、拡張式エンベロープを有し前記水塊中に配置されるフロートを含み、且つ該エンベロープを拡張させて該エンベロープを拡張状態で維持する手段を含む、波力エネルギー変換器。
- 前記エンベロープは、可撓性であり、前記拡張手段は、前記エンベロープ内に配置される充填材料を含む、請求項1に記載の波力エネルギー変換器。
- 前記充填材料は、1つ又は複数の流体を含む、請求項2に記載の波力エネルギー変換器。
- 前記流体は、空気、水、窒素、及び炭酸ガスから成る群より選択される、請求項3に記載の波力エネルギー変換器。
- 前記フロートは、間欠的な過度の水圧状態下で前記フロートから流体を抜く圧力逃がし弁を含み、前記抜かれた流体を補充するための加圧流体缶を前記フロート内に含む、請求項4に記載の波力エネルギー変換器。
- 前記フロートは、2つの別個の部材を備え、一方の部材にガスが充填され、他方の部材に水が充填される、請求項4に記載の波力エネルギー変換器。
- 前記一方の部材は、該一方の部材を膨張させる加圧ガス缶を含む、請求項6に記載の波力エネルギー変換器。
- 前記部材はそれぞれ、中央開口部を囲むリムを含む環状の形状であり、前記2つの部材は、前記中央開口部が位置合わせされて互いに固定され、前記波力エネルギー変換器は、前記部材と摺動関係で前記中央開口部を通して延びる第2の細長いフロートを含む、請求項6に記載の波力エネルギー変換器。
- 前記第2のフロートは、水及びガスをそれぞれ体積が約4:1の比で充填される、請求項8に記載の波力エネルギー変換器。
- 前記第2のフロートは、該第2のフロートの長さを変えるために伸縮関係にある複数の端同士がつながった細長いセクションを備える、請求項1に記載の波力エネルギー変換器。
- 前記第2のフロートは、該第2のフロートの長さを変えるために、その長さに沿って複数のアコーディオンタイプのプリーツを含む、請求項1に記載の波力エネルギー変換器。
