Abstract
【解決手段】金属からなる基材と、この基材表面に形成された被覆層とを具える積層構造体(測定対象13)の一端をポテンショスタット/ガルバノスタット装置20に接続し、他端側を電解液BLに浸漬した状態で、測定対象13に一定の電位を印加して経時的な電流の変化を計測し、この結果に基づいてピンホールの量(面積)を求める。測定対象13は、Fe/Ni構造体が挙げられる。ニッケル(Ni)にピンホールが存在すると、ピンホールから露出した鉄(Fe)が電解液中で酸化反応を起こし、この反応に基づく電流が流れる。この電流は、ピンホールの面積と相関がある。

Description
図1に示すセルを用いて、鉄及びニッケルに対して動電位アノード分極測定を行った。
図1に示すセルを用いて、鉄の定電位アノード分極測定を行った。
図1に示すセルを用いて、鉄からなる基材の上に、ニッケルめっき(被覆層)が施されたNi/Fe構造体について、被覆層に存在するピンホール率を調べた。

- 金属からなる基材と、この基材表面に形成された被覆層とを具える積層構造体を電解液に浸漬し、
この積層構造体に一定の電位を印加した状態で経時的な電流の変化を計測し、
得られた計測結果に基づいて、前記被覆層に存在するピンホールの量を求めることを特徴とするピンホールの評価方法。 - 前記基材は、鉄又は鉄合金から構成され、
前記被覆層は、ニッケル、クロム、銀、及び金の1種以上の金属から構成され、
前記電解液として、酸溶液を用いることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のピンホールの評価方法。 - 前記基材は、鉄又は鉄合金から構成され、
前記被覆層は、有機材料、又は非金属無機材料から構成され、
