Abstract
【解決手段】本装置は、加工物及び水流の両方を保持してこれらを立体的に相対に移動するための手段を含む。複雑な形状を均等に且つ可変深さにピーニング加工できるようにし、相対的速度、離間距離、角度、及び圧力を自動的に変化させることができる制御手段が設けられている。本発明の方法は、水流中に同伴させた消失する粒子を使用し、ピーニング加工を容易にする工程を含む。

Claims (1)
- 金属にピーニング加工を施すための方法において、超高圧流体を発生する工程と、前記超高圧流体を超高圧水流カッティングノズルに搬送する工程と、前記超高圧流体を解放して超高圧水流を形成する工程と、ピーニング加工が施されるべき金属の表面のほぼ全てが前記超高圧水流と接触して圧縮されるまで、前記超高圧水流が前記金属の表面と接触してこれを圧縮するように、前記超高圧水流をピーニング加工が施されるべき金属の表面に亘って移動する工程と、前記水流の作動を停止する工程と、を有することを特徴とする方法。
