【解決手段】目封止部の深さが、2.0mm以上、12mm以下であり、単位長さあたりの目封止押抜き強度が、3MPa/mm以上、50MPa/mm以下であり、目封止部の水力直径が、0.95mm以上、2.20mm未満であり、且つ、目封止部の気孔率が、40%以上、80%以下である目封止ハニカム構造体の提供による。

Claims (6)
- 二の端面の間を連通する複数のセルを形成する多孔質の隔壁を有する柱状のハニカム構造体と、前記セルを端面で目封止する目封止部と、を備え、
その目封止部の深さが、2.0mm以上、12mm以下であり、
単位長さあたりの目封止押抜き強度が、3MPa/mm以上、50MPa/mm以下であり、
目封止部の水力直径が、0.95mm以上、2.20mm未満であり、且つ、
目封止部の気孔率が、40%以上、80%以下である目封止ハニカム構造体。 - 前記目封止部の断面積が、0.90mm2以上、4.12mm2未満である請求項1に記載の目封止ハニカム構造体。
- 前記目封止部の深さに対し50%以上の長さで、前記目封止部と前記隔壁とが接着している請求項1又は2に記載の目封止ハニカム構造体。
- 前記二の端面において、セルの大きさ及びセルの形状のうち何れか又は両方が異なる請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の目封止ハニカム構造体。
- 前記セルを端面で目封止する目封止部が、アルカリ土類、Al、Si及びFeより選ばれる1種類以上の元素を含む焼結助剤と、0.1質量%以上添加された分散剤と、を含有する目封止用スラリーを、セルに充填し、その後、乾燥又は乾燥と焼成をして、得られたものである請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の目封止ハニカム構造体。
- 請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の目封止ハニカム構造体を用いたディーゼルパティキュレートフィルタ。
