Abstract
【解決手段】ハニカムセグメント10は、その外周壁7の外周面7sの軸方向の一端側と他端側の両端面位置より軸方向内側の所定の領域内に、それぞれスペーサー11が備えられている。そして、スペーサー11は、外周面の一方の長辺7xから他方の長辺7xへ、その中心を経由する経路長の30〜80%を占めるように形成されている。つまり、スペーサーが短辺7yに沿った方向に並んで配置されているため、短辺7yの長さaに対して、スペーサー11の短辺方向の長さb1+b2がaの30〜80%となるように形成されている。

Claims (4)
- 多孔質の隔壁によって区画された軸方向に延びる流体の流路となる複数のセルを有し、
外周壁の一つの外周面の、前記軸方向の一方の端面から前記軸方向に所定の領域内に、かつ、前記軸方向の他方の端面から前記軸方向に所定の領域内に、それぞれスペーサーが備えられ、
前記スペーサーは、前記外周面の一方の長辺から他方の長辺へ、その中心を経由する経路長の30〜80%を占めるように形成されているスペーサー付ハニカムセグメント。 - 前記スペーサーは、前記軸方向の一方の端面から前記軸方向に前記長辺の20%以内の前記領域内に、他方の端面から前記長辺の20%以内の前記領域内に形成されている請求項1に記載のスペーサー付ハニカムセグメント。
- 前記スペーサーは、一つの前記領域内において短辺方向に沿って設けられており、前記短辺方向において、その短辺方向に占める長さが、前記短辺の長さの30〜80%である請求項1または2に記載のスペーサー付ハニカムセグメント。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のスペーサー付ハニカムセグメントを積層して形成したハニカム構造体。
