Abstract
【解決手段】 一対の基板間に液晶層400を保持した構成の液晶表示装置であって、複数の画素PXを備えた表示エリア120において、画素PX毎に配置された画素電極230と、液晶層400を介して画素電極230と対向するように配置された対向電極330と、画素PXの行方向に沿って配置された走査線Yと、画素PXの列方向に沿って配置された信号線Xと、隣接する画素電極230の間で液晶層400を介して対向電極330と対向するように配置され、対向電極330の電位に対して黒表示電圧となるような電位の導電層260と、を備えたことを特徴とする。

Description
一対の基板間に液晶層を保持した構成の液晶表示装置であって、
複数の画素を備えた表示エリアにおいて、
前記画素毎に配置された画素電極と、
前記液晶層を介して前記画素電極と対向するように配置された対向電極と、
前記画素の行方向に沿って配置された走査線と、
前記画素の列方向に沿って配置された信号線と、
隣接する前記画素電極の間で前記液晶層を介して前記対向電極と対向するように配置され、前記対向電極の電位に対して黒表示電圧となるような電位の導電層と、
を備えたことを特徴とする。

Claims (7)
- 一対の基板間に液晶層を保持した構成の液晶表示装置であって、
複数の画素を備えた表示エリアにおいて、
前記画素毎に配置された画素電極と、
前記液晶層を介して前記画素電極と対向するように配置された対向電極と、
前記画素の行方向に沿って配置された走査線と、
前記画素の列方向に沿って配置された信号線と、
隣接する前記画素電極の間で前記液晶層を介して前記対向電極と対向するように配置され、前記対向電極の電位に対して黒表示電圧となるような電位の導電層と、
を備えたことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記導電層の幅は、隣接する前記画素電極間の間隔より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記導電層は、隣接する前記画素電極のそれぞれの端部と絶縁層を介して重なるように配置されたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記導電層は、光透過性を有する導電材料によって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記導電層は、列方向に沿って配置され、絶縁層を介して前記信号線と重なることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記導電層は、行方向に沿って配置され、絶縁層を介して前記走査線と重なることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- ノーマリーホワイト型であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
