【課題】本発明は、手触り及び外観を向上させることができる成形品を提供できる。
【解決手段】本発明は、基板と、皮革、織物、布の中の何れか一種から構成される柔軟層と、前記基板と前記柔軟層との間に形成され、且つ熱膨張係数が前記柔軟層と前記基板との間にある保護層と、を含む成形品を提供する。前記柔軟層のと前記基板との間に前記保護層が形成されているので、前記柔軟層と前記基板の熱膨張係数が突然変化することを防ぎ、前記基板を形成する場合、柔軟層と基板との間に応力が発生し、柔軟層にしわが発生することを防ぐことができる。

Description

本発明は、成形品に関し、特に表面に皮革、織物又は布が形成されている成形品に関するものである。
技術の発展に伴って、携帯電話、ノートパソコン、携帯情報端末(Personal Digital Assistant、PDAと略称)などの電子装置が広く使用されている。使用者は、前記電気装置の各種の機能に対する要求ばかりでなく、電子装置の外観と手触りに対しても新しい要求がある。
前記電子装置の外部には、電子装置の各種の部品を保護するハウジングが設置されている。前記ハウジングは、通常プラスチックを材料とし、射出成形方法で製造したものである。射出成形方法で製造した成形品は、重さが軽く、製造コストが安く、製造方法が簡単である利点があるので、各種の領域に広く使用されている。
前記ハウジングの手触りを向上させる一方、外観を美しくするために、通常前記成形品の表面に皮革、織物などの柔軟層を形成する。前記ハウジングの表面に皮革又は織物などを形成する場合、まず皮革又は織物を所定の形状及びサイズに切った後、その皮革又は織物を金型の内部に設置する。次に、金型の内部に前記ハウジングを形成する溶融の材料を注入して、ハウジング本体を形成する。次に、前記溶融の材料を固化させると、表面に皮革又は織物が一体に接着されたハウジングが形成される。
しかし、皮革、織物などの柔軟層の上に溶融の材料を注入した後、溶融の材料を固化させる場合、ハウジング本体が収縮することを避けることができない。従って、ハウジングの表面に形成される皮革又は織物にしわが容易に発生し、ハウジングの外観が悪くなる。
以上の問題点に鑑みて、本発明は、手触り及び外観を向上させることができる成形品を提供することを目的とする。
前記問題を解決するために、基板と、皮革、織物、布の中の何れか一種から構成される柔軟層と、前記基板と前記柔軟層との間に形成され、且つ熱膨張係数が前記柔軟層と前記基板との間にある保護層と、を含む成形品を提供する。
前記成形品において、前記柔軟層と前記基板との間に前記保護層が形成され、且つその保護層の熱膨張係数が前記柔軟層と前記基板との間にあるので、前記柔軟層と前記基板の熱膨張係数が突然変化することを防ぐことができる。従って、前記基板を形成する場合、柔軟層と基板との間に応力が発生し、柔軟層にしわが発生することを防ぐことができる。且つ、前記基板の上に前記柔軟層が形成されているので、本発明の成形品の手触りを向上させることができる。
以下、図面に基づいて、本発明の実施形態に係る成形品に対して詳細に説明する。
図1は、本発明の実施形態に係る成形品10の断面図である。前記成形品10は、柔軟層12と、保護層13と、基板14と、を含む。
前記柔軟層12は、皮革、織物、布の中の何れか一種から構成される。前記皮革と、織物及び布は、天然皮革、人工皮革、綿織物、繊維織物、プラスチック織物、ナイロン織物などから選択することができる。好ましくは、人工皮革、綿織物又はナイロン織物から構成される柔軟層12を選択する。
前記柔軟層12は、他の部品と接着する接着面122を含む。前記接着面122は、表面に微小な凹凸部が多く形成される粗い表面である。不同な材料で前記柔軟層12を製造する場合、前記接着面122の微小な凹凸部が形成される方式が互いに異なる。例えば、綿織物などで前記柔軟層12を製造する場合、微小な凹凸部が前記柔軟層12を製造する際に直接前記接着面122に形成されるが、皮革などで前記柔軟層12を製造する場合、皮革の表面に研磨などの工程を実施しなければ、微小な凹凸部を有する前記接着面122が形成されない。
前記保護層13は、前記柔軟層12の接着面122と、前記基板14の上表面と、の間に形成されている。前記保護層13を形成する場合、まず、熱圧又は印刷方式で前記柔軟層12の接着面122にその保護層13を形成する。前記接着面122に微小な凹凸部が多く形成されているので、保護層13と接着面122との間の接続面積が増加し、両者が緊密に接着することができる。次に、前記柔軟層12が形成されない前記保護層13の表面に溶融材料を射出し、冷却して、前記基板14を形成する。
前記保護層13の熱膨張係数は、前記柔軟層12と前記基板14との間にある。即ち、保護層13の熱膨張係数が前記柔軟層12の熱膨張係数より少し大きく、前記基板14の熱膨張係数より少し小さいか、前記柔軟層12の熱膨張係数より少し小さく、前記基板14の熱膨張係数より少し大きい。前記保護層13が前記柔軟層12と前記基板14との間に形成されているので、熱膨張係数が突然変化することを防ぐことができる。従って、溶融材料を射出し、冷却して、前記基板14を形成する場合、柔軟層12と基板14との間に応力が発生し、柔軟層12にしわが発生することを防ぐことができる。
前記基板14は、射出成形方法で射出して形成したものである。前記基板14の材料として、プラスチック、ゴム、シリコーンなどを採用することができる。前記プラスチック材料として、ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂(Polyvinyl Chloride、PVC)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(Polyethylene Terephthalate 、PET)、アクリロニトリルブタジエンスチレン(Acrylonitorile Butadiene Styrene、ABS)、ポリカーボネート(Polycarbonate、PC)、ポリイミド(Polyimide 、PI)、液晶高分子(Liquid Crystal Polymer 、LCP)、ポリエーテルイミド(Polyetherimide、PEI)、ポリフェニレンサルファイド(Polyphenylene Sulfide、PPS)、ポリスチレン(Polystyrene、PS)、ポリプロピレン(P olypropylene、PP)等を単独或いは混合して用いることができる。好ましくは、アクリロニトリルブタジエンスチレン(ABS)又はポリカーボネート(PC)を前記基板14を形成する材料とする。
前記成形品10は、携帯電話、ノートパソコン、携帯情報端末(Personal Digital Assistant、PDAと略称)などの電子装置に使用されるハウジング、又は、筆入れ、コップなどの各種の容器であることができる。
上述したように、前記柔軟層12の接着面122と、前記基板14の上表面と、の間に前記保護層13が形成され、且つその保護層13の熱膨張係数が前記柔軟層12と前記基板14との間にあるので、前記柔軟層12と前記基板14の熱膨張係数が突然変化することを防ぐことができる。従って、溶融材料を射出し、冷却して、前記基板14を形成する場合、柔軟層12と基板14との間に応力が発生し、柔軟層12にしわが発生することを防ぐことができる。前記柔軟層12にしわが発生しないので、本発明の成形品の外観が美しくなる。且つ、前記柔軟層12が前記基板14の上に形成されているので、本発明の成形品の手触りを向上させることができる。

Claims (7)

  1. 基板と、皮革、織物、布の中の何れか一種から構成される柔軟層と、前記基板と前記柔軟層との間に形成され、且つ熱膨張係数が前記柔軟層と前記基板との間にある保護層と、を含むことを特徴とする成形品。
  2. 前記保護層の熱膨張係数が前記柔軟層の熱膨張係数より大きく、前記基板の熱膨張係数より少し小さいか、前記柔軟層の熱膨張係数より小さく、前記基板の熱膨張係数より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の成形品。
  3. 前記基板が射出成形方法で射出して形成したものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の成形品。
  4. 前記基板の材料として、プラスチック、ゴム、シリコーンなどを採用することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の成形品。
  5. 前記柔軟層の材料として、前記皮革と、織物及び布を、天然皮革、人工皮革、綿織物、繊維織物、プラスチック織物、ナイロン織物から選択することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の成形品。
  6. 前記柔軟層の材料として、前記皮革と、織物及び布を、好ましくは、人工皮革、綿織物又はナイロン織物から選択することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の成形品。
  7. 前記柔軟層は、表面に微小な凹凸部が多く形成される接着面を含み、熱圧又は印刷方式で前記柔軟層の接着面に前記保護層を形成する場合、前記接着面に微小な凹凸部が多く形成されているので、前記保護層と接着面との間の接続面積が増加し、両者が緊密に接着することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の成形品。
