Abstract
【解決手段】一態様においては、本発明は、相互の関係における要素の横方向シフトが、レンズによって提供される球面屈折力の変動のみならず、そのレンズによって呈される球面収差の変動をも引き起こすことができる2要素眼科用レンズを提供する。いくつかの実現形態においては、2つの要素の厚さプロファイルは、球面収差の変動が、レンズの球面屈折力の変動と正の関係があるように、設計される。

Claims (14)
- 光軸に沿ってタンデム式に配設された2つの光学要素を有するオプティックであって、前記要素の少なくとも一方は、実質的に前記光軸を横断する方向に沿った他方との関係における横方向運動が可能である、オプティックを有し、
この場合に、前記要素は、前記横方向運動が、前記オプティックによって提供される光屈折力の変動及び前記オプティックによって呈される球面収差の変動を引き起こすように構成される、眼科用レンズ。 - 前記要素は、前記球面収差が、前記光屈折力が増大するのに伴って増大するように、構成される請求項1記載の眼科用レンズ。
- 前記球面収差は、前記横方向運動と関連する変位の関数として変化する請求項1記載の眼科用レンズ。
- 前記球面収差は、前記変位が増大するのに伴って増大する請求項3記載の眼科用レンズ。
- 前記球面収差は、前記変位の増大の関数として線形で増大する請求項4記載の眼科用レンズ。
- 前記要素の一方は、次の関係に従って定義された厚さプロファイルt1(x,y)を呈し、
t1(x,y)=a(xy2+(1/3)x3)+b(xy4+(1/5)x5)+cx3y2
この場合に、x、y、zは、相互に直交するx、y、及びz軸によって形成されたデカルト座標系を表し、ここで、前記光軸は、前記z軸に沿っており、且つ、この場合に、a、b、cは、調節可能なパラメータであり、且つ、この場合に、前記他方の要素は、次の関係に従って定義された厚さt2(x,y)を呈する請求項1記載の眼科用レンズ。

この場合に、前記要素は、前記横方向運動が前記要素の組み合わせによって呈される少なくとも1つの光学収差の変動を引き起こすように適合された厚さプロファイルを呈する、眼科用レンズ。 - 前記収差は、球面収差を含む請求項8記載の眼科用レンズ。
- 前記厚さプロファイルは、前記横方向運動の関数として前記要素によって提供される合成光屈折力の変動を引き起こすべく適合される請求項8記載の眼科レンズ。
- 光軸に沿って配設された2つの光学要素を有するオプティックを提供することであって、前記光学要素は、他方との関係における一方の横方向シフトが、前記要素によって提供される合成球面光屈折力及び前記要素の組み合わせによって呈される球面収差の変動を引き起こすように適合される、ことと、
前記オプティックを患者の眼の内部に埋植することと、
を具備する視力を矯正する方法。 - 2つの要素の組み合わせから構成されたオプティック内における一方の要素の相対的な横方向シフトが、結果的に、前記要素によって提供される合成球面屈折力及び前記要素の組み合わせによって呈される球面収差の変動をもたらすような厚さプロファイルを有する前記2つの光学要素を形成することと、
前記要素の少なくとも一方が、他方との関係における横方向運動できるように、光軸に沿ってタンデム式に前記光学要素を組み立てることと、
を具備する眼科用レンズを製造する方法。 - 光軸を中心として配設された前方オプティック及び後方オプティックと、
前記オプティックの一方にそれぞれが結合された少なくとも2つのハプティックと、
相互の関係における前記2つのハプティックの横方向運動を許容し、これにより、相互の関係における前記オプティックの横方向運動を引き起こすべく、前記2つのハプティックを接続する複数の柔軟なヒンジと、
を有し、
この場合に、前記光学要素は、前記横方向運動が、前記オプティックによって提供される合成光屈折力及び前記オプティックの組み合わせによって呈される球面収差の変化を引き起こすように、構成される、IOL。 - 前記ハプティックは、前記横方向運動が、実質的に前記光軸を横断するように、構成される請求項13記載のIOL。
