Abstract
【解決手段】原子力発電所の使用済燃料の再処理過程で核分裂生成物等から分離される硝酸ウラニル溶液を冷却し、飽和溶解度よりも濃度を高くして結晶を固化させる晶析操作を行い、該晶析によって回収された硝酸ウラニル結晶を発汗精製し、その後融解分離操作を行って、硝酸ウラニルを回収する。

Claims (4)
- 原子力発電所の使用済燃料の再処理過程で核分裂生成物等から分離される硝酸ウラニル溶液を冷却し、晶析操作を行い、該晶析によって回収された硝酸ウラニル結晶を発汗精製し、その後融解分離操作を行って、硝酸ウラニルを回収することを特徴とする核燃料物質の結晶精製方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記晶析によって回収された硝酸ウラニル結晶を洗浄し、結晶表面、結晶粒間に付着している母液等の液体状不純物を除去した後、前記発汗精製を行うことを特徴とする核燃料物質の結晶精製方法。
- 請求項1または2に記載の方法において、前記発汗精製を硝酸ウラニルの融点とほぼ同温度に保持された恒温チャンバにて行うことを特徴とする核燃料物質の結晶精製方法。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の方法において、前記融解分離を60℃以上245℃以下で行うことを特徴とする核燃料物質の結晶精製方法。
