Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody comfort of bicycle traveling by giving vertical elasticity and back and forth spring biasing by applying a buffer board spring mechanism to the bicycle facing as a lower cord arc and an upper cord arc which are used as a cushioning spring for a rickshaw. <P>SOLUTION: Taking the inclination of a handle bar shaft and a saddle shaft rearward into consideration in a rigid body of tire-frame of the bicycle, setting these inclined shafts and a pedal propulsion mechanism apart for later use, it is made to be an elastic frame facing to each other as the lower cord arc and the upper cord arc. These spring mechanism obtains an exquisite back and forth extension-contraction action between a rider's weight and the road surface roughness to reduce the pedal traveling load by forming a bending part of a front wheel fork as an extension-contraction mechanism constituted by adding an auxiliary spring to a leaf spring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT

Description

Instead of the rigid body of the so-called diamond frame in bicycles, the upper and lower and front and rear leaf springs are made facing each other in order to give elasticity, elasticity, and so on. It is intended to improve and reduce the driving burden.

Conventional vibrations generated during traveling of a traveling body such as a bicycle, an automobile, or a motorcycle are only buffered by the tire air pressure and the buffer spring so as not to adversely affect the rider and loading. In addition to mechanically driven vehicles such as engines, it is difficult to provide a spring biasing mechanism for low-speed vehicles such as bicycles that are powered by human power. There seems to be nothing.

In a bicycle, a shock absorbing spring that combines a leaf spring string arc used between a wheel and a canopy box in a rickshaw that stretches back and forth between the unevenness of the road and the weight of the passenger load is applied to the bicycle. This is the result of repeated thoughts to maximize the utility of the string arc leaf spring.

The handle shaft and saddle shaft in the front wheel alignment of the bicycle are inclined backward.
The inclination of the tilt shaft and the propulsion mechanism of the pedal chain are preserved as they are, and the remaining part from the handle shaft through the saddle shaft to the rear axle and the portion from the handle shaft to the pedal shaft are also lowered by a leaf spring. Replace the arc with the first chord arc. Also, the saddle shaft that stretches between them is a slicing bar spring with two kinds of solid and long cylinders with a built-in elastic spring.
In addition, I decided to apply again as a spring-biased bicycle with a lot of thought.
Therefore, emphasis was placed on the balance of spring force so as not to obstruct the propulsion mechanism of the bicycle.

From the balance of force, we would like to fix both ends of the lower chord arc horizontally, but the front end of this lower chord arc is fixed to the upper part of the so-called cylinder of the handle shaft. The other end is fixed to the rear wheel axle, and a saddle shaft rising from the pedal shaft is fixed to the center of the other end.

The saddle shaft with both ends of the saddle and the pedal shaft is the other end of the lower chord arc that is fixed to the lower part of the so-called cylinder of the handle shaft, with a telescopic spring spring built into the long slice bearing tube. It is assumed that it is interposed between the pedal shaft and does not hinder expansion and contraction of these two leaf springs. Therefore, the rider's weight on the saddle and on the steering wheel is on both arcs and the spring of the saddle shaft.
At this time, although the distance between the saddle and the pedal shaft is not constant according to the expansion and contraction of these springs, the dispersed weight on the saddle can sufficiently cope with this pedal rowing.

Next, the front wheel fork in the front wheel alignment is also stretched. This telescopic structure of the handle shaft corresponds to the mechanism of expansion and contraction between the saddle shaft and the rear wheel shaft of the leaf spring of the lower chord arc. The fact that the rider's weight was dispersed to the handle and saddle and moved to the center was nothing but the balance of the spring mechanism of this frame.
Since it was judged that only the leaf spring mechanism of the fork bent part could not endure the overuse caused by the expansion and contraction during running, it was made to go straight from the front of the fork to bend between the tip and the front axle. I took a pull spring and took it all right.
If there is not enough support for lateral blurring with the long slice bearing cylinder and the front end handle shaft with a built-in telescopic rod spring between the lower chord arc and the upper upper chord arc, the saddle shaft A reinforcing mechanism connected to both the saddle shaft and the lower chord arc is attached to the pedal propulsion mechanism so as to slice.
Further, the front wheel fork leaf spring can be extended forward by making the upper chord half-arc leaf spring somewhat soft or by increasing the inclination of the handle shaft to the rear.

The invention's effect

The present invention is directed to a bicycle for a shock absorbing mechanism, which is a so-called diamond frame in a conventional bicycle, with the upper chord arc and the lower chord arc facing each other and bundling their terminals to serve as a buffer spring, As a result, not only the vertical elasticity but also the front-back expansion and contraction were obtained.
This forward / backward expansion / contraction is due to the fact that the handle shaft and saddle shaft are inclined rearward, and the bent part of the fork is further used as a leaf spring to ensure its elasticity. It was caused by keeping the dominant hand of me.

The lower chord arc, upper chord arc, saddle shaft tension spring, front wheel fork leaf spring and its reinforcing tension spring, but the five springs are united to make a better advance, but the difficulty of adjustment remains. Reducing the burden of bicycle travel only by contraction and expansion force will increase the range of human activities on bicycles, leading to more familiar bicycles.
