Abstract
耐久性に優れ高い輝度を有する紫色、青色の蛍光体を提供する。
【解決手段】
SrSi9Al19O1N31結晶、あるいはSrSi9Al19O1N31と同一の結晶構造を有する無機結晶に、少なくともCeが固溶したものを含み、波長420nmから500nmの範囲の波長にピークを持つ蛍光を発光することを特徴とする蛍光体を提供する。また、このような蛍光体を製造する方法を提供する。さらに、このような蛍光体を含む照明器具および画像表示装置を提供する。

(発明2):前記無機結晶にLiが固溶されたことを特徴とする発明1に記載の蛍光体。
(発明3):前記無機結晶は、(Sr1−2yCeyLiy)Si10−xAl18+xOxN32−xで示され、パラメータx、yは、

以上の条件を満たすことを特徴とする発明2に記載の蛍光体。
(発明4):250〜400nmの波長の光を発する発光光源と、これを励起光とする蛍光体から構成されている照明器具であって、前記蛍光体の少なくとも一部は、発明1から3のいずれかに記載の蛍光体であることを特徴とする照明器具。
(発明5):前記発光光源はLEDまたはLDであり、前記発明1から3のいずれかに記載の蛍光体は、250〜400nmの励起光により420nm〜500nmの波長に発光ピークを持つ青色光を発することを特徴とする発明4に記載の照明器具。
(発明6):蛍光体とこれを励起する励起源とから構成された画像表示装置であって、前記蛍光体の少なくとも一部は、発明1から3のいずれかに記載の蛍光体であることを特徴とする画像表示装置。
(発明7):前記励起源が加速電圧10V以上30kV以下の電子線であることを特徴とする発明6項に記載の画像表示装置。
(発明8):発明7に記載の画像表示装置は、蛍光表示管(VFD)、フィールドエミッションディスプレイ(FEDまたはSED)または陰極線管(CRT)のいずれかであることを特徴とする画像表示装置。
原料粉末は、比表面積3.3m2/g、酸素含有量0.79%の窒化アルミニウム粉末(トクヤマ製Fグレード)、均粒径0.5μm、酸素含有量0.93重量%、α型含有量92%の窒化ケイ素粉末(宇部興産社製のE10グレード)、純度99.9%の炭酸ストロンチウム粉末(高純度化学製試薬級)、純度99.9%の炭酸リチウム粉末(高純度化学製試薬級)、および純度99.9%の酸化セリウム粉末(信越化学製)を用いた。

Claims (8)
- SrSi9Al19O1N31結晶、あるいはSrSi9Al19O1N31と同一の結晶構造を持つ無機結晶に少なくともCeが固溶されていることを特徴とする蛍光体。
- 前記無機結晶にLiが固溶されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の蛍光体。
- 前記無機結晶は、(Sr1−2yCeyLiy)Si10−xAl18+xOxN32−xで示され、パラメータx、yは、
0≦ x ≦2・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・(i)
0.00001≦ y ≦1・・・・・・・・・・・・(ii)
以上の条件を満たすことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の蛍光体。 - 250〜400nmの波長の光を発する発光光源と、これを励起光とする蛍光体から構成されている照明器具であって、前記蛍光体の少なくとも一部は、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の蛍光体であることを特徴とする照明器具。
- 前記発光光源はLEDまたはLDであり、前記請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の蛍光体は、250〜400nmの励起光により420nm〜500nmの波長に発光ピークを持つ青色光を発することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の照明器具。
- 蛍光体とこれを励起する励起源とから構成された画像表示装置であって、前記蛍光体の少なくとも一部は、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の蛍光体であることを特徴とする画像表示装置。
- 前記励起源が加速電圧10V以上30kV以下の電子線であることを特徴とする請求項6項に記載の画像表示装置。
- 請求項7に記載の画像表示装置は、蛍光表示管(VFD)、フィールドエミッションディスプレイ(FEDまたはSED)または陰極線管(CRT)のいずれかであることを特徴とする画像表示装置。
