Abstract
【解決手段】銀の除去方法は、銀イオンを含む液体にShewanella oneidensisまたはShewanella algaeの細菌を接触させることによって、液体中の銀の濃度を低下させる方法である。洗濯機1は、繊維構造体に銀イオンを付与することが可能な洗濯機であって、洗濯に用いられる水に接触するように配置され、銀イオンを含む水にShewanella oneidensisまたはShewanella algaeの細菌を接触させることによって、水中の銀の濃度を低下させる銀回収ユニット200を備える。

Description
本発明の方法の一つの実験例として、Shewanella oneidensis(以下、「S. oneidensis」という)またはShewanella algae(以下、「S. algae」という)を所定の濃度の銀イオン含有水と混合した後の銀濃度を調べた。
本発明のもう一つの実験例として、実験例1よりも銀濃度が低い銀イオン含有水を用いて、S. oneidensisまたはS. algaeを銀イオン含有水と混合した後の銀濃度を調べた。また、比較のため、Pseudomonas aeruginosa(以下、「P. aeruginosa」という)を実験例1よりも銀濃度が低い銀イオン含有水と混合した後の銀濃度も調べた。実験方法は、実験例1と同様の方法で行った。
本発明のさらにもう一つの実験例として、実験例2よりも銀濃度が低い銀イオン含有水を用いて、S. oneidensisを銀イオン含有水と混合した後の銀濃度を調べた。また、比較のため、P. aeruginosaを実験例2よりも銀濃度が低い銀イオン含有水と混合した後の銀濃度も調べた。実験方法は、実験例1と同様の方法で行った。
本発明の別の実験例として、死んだ菌体としてのS. oneidensisを、実験例3と同様に銀濃度が低い銀イオン含有水と混合した後の銀濃度を調べた。
S. oneidensisを用いて、パラジウムイオンの除去と銀イオンの除去の実験を行った。
以下、この発明の洗濯機の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。
Claims (5)
- 銀イオンを含む液体にShewanella oneidensisまたはShewanella algaeの細菌を接触させることによって、液体中の銀の濃度を低下させることを特徴とする、銀の除去方法。
- 前記細菌は、死んだ菌体を含む、請求項1に記載の銀の除去方法。
- 銀イオンを含む液体に前記細菌の表面部分を接触させることによって、液体中の銀の濃度を低下させることを特徴とする、請求項1または請求項2に記載の銀の除去方法。
- 前記細菌を接触させる前の前記液体中の銀の濃度は、1mg/L未満である、請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項に記載の銀の除去方法。
- 繊維構造体に銀イオンを付与することが可能な洗濯機であって、
洗濯に用いられる水に接触するように配置され、銀イオンを含む水にShewanella oneidensisまたはShewanella algaeの細菌を接触させることによって、水中の銀の濃度を低下させる銀回収ユニットを備える、洗濯機。
