Claims (17)

  1. ａ．第１の外導体及び第１の内導体を有する第１の嵌合部分と、
    ｂ．第２の外導体及び第２の内導体を有する第２の嵌合部分と、
    ｃ．第１の側及び第２の側を有すると共に内空部を画定する中央本体と、
    ｄ．前記第１の外導体を前記中央本体と電気通信状態に保持するための第１の保持手段により前記中央本体の第１の側に嵌合された前記第１の嵌合部分と、
    ｅ．前記第２の外導体を前記中央本体と電気通信状態に保持するための第２の保持手段により前記中央本体の第２の側に嵌合された前記第２の嵌合部分と、
    ｆ．前記内空部内に配置されて前記第１の内導体及び前記第２の内導体を電気的に結合させるための中心導体と、を具備し、
    ｇ．前記第１及び第２の嵌合部分が前記電気通信状態を維持しつつ、互いに他に対し及び前記中央本体に対し、互いに独立して半径方向に変位可能である、
    コネクタ。
  2. 前記第１及び第２の嵌合部分が約±０．５１ｍｍ（０．０２０インチ）だけ変位可能である請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  3. 前記第１の嵌合部分が雌コネクタである請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  4. 前記第１の嵌合部分が雄コネクタである請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  5. 前記第２の嵌合部分が雌コネクタである請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  6. 前記第２の嵌合部分が雄コネクタである請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  7. 前記第１及び第２の保持手段の少なくとも一方が斜角付き座金を具備した請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  8. 前記第１及び第２の外導体の少なくとも一方が溝付き導体を具備した請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  9. 前記第１及び第２の嵌合部分の少なくとも一方が絶縁体を更に具備した請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  10. 前記コネクタが約４０ギガヘルツにおいて動作可能である請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  11. 前記コネクタがＳＭＰＭコネクタである請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  12. 前記第１及び第２の嵌合部分の前記内導体及び外導体が互いに同軸である請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  13. 前記第１及び第２の保持手段の少なくとも一方がスナップリングを具備した請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  14. 前記第１及び第２の保持手段の少なくとも一方がバネを具備した請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  15. 前記中心導体がピンを具備した請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  16. 前記中心導体がバネを具備した請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
  17. 前記保持手段の少なくとも一方が導電性である請求項１に記載のコネクタ。
