Abstract
Description
本明細書で使用する時、「平均流量」という句は、分配角度が約150度である時に分配通路から流れる顆粒状製品の流量を記述する。平均流量を測定するために、第一内側容積が、通常は少なくとも50%、好ましくは90%の予め定められた容積の顆粒状製品で満たされる。パッケージを150度の分配角度に5秒間傾け、この時間中に分配通路を流れ出たビーズの体積を集めて重量測定し、その重量を5秒で割り算することによって、毎秒の流量が計算される。5秒間が完了する前に顆粒状製品の流れが止まった場合、及び/又はパッケージが完全に空になった場合には、顆粒状製品の流れが止まる/パッケージが完全に空になるのに要した時間によって、重量が割り算される。流量は、5回測定して計算される。これらの5つの計算された流量から、平均流量、標準偏差、及び流量の百分率としての標準偏差が、計算される。
図1及び2のパッケージを、キャップを含めて、UV遮断剤…を0.01重量%含有する吹込み成形されたポリエチレンテレフタレートで形成する。第一内側容積は約550mLであり、別個の及び別々に形成される第二内側容積は約65mLである。口は丸くて4cmの直径を有しており、及び第二中空本体部材は、スナップ嵌めの閉止部を有し、これが口と共に気密封止を形成する。流量調節通路は14mmの幅を有し、基底角度は約15度である。分配角度約120度、150度、及び180度で本明細書の流量試験方法により試験する時、顆粒状製品は、分配通路及びしたがって注ぎ口から流出し、各分配角度についての標準偏差は次の通りである:

Claims (13)
- 顆粒状製品を分配するためのパッケージであって、:
A.第一中空本体部材であって:
i.第一外側表面;及び
ii.前記第一外側表面の反対側の第一内側表面であって、第一内側容積を画定する第一内側表面;
を含む第一中空本体部材と、
B.第二中空本体部材であって、前記第二中空本体部材が:
i.前記第一内側容積より小さい第二外側体積を画定する第二外側表面;
ii.前記第二外側表面の反対側の第二内側表面であって、第二内側容積を画定する第二内側表面;
iii.前記第二の外側表面から前記第二の内側表面に通じる流量調節通路;及び
iv.前記第二の内側表面から前記第二の外側表面に通じる分配通路であって、前記分配通路が前記流量調節通路から分離している分配通路、
を含み、
前記第二の中空本体部材の少なくとも一部が前記第一の内側容積の中にある、第二中空本体部材と、
C.前記分配通路に操作可能に連結された注ぎ口であって、
前記第一内側容積が中の顆粒状製品で少なくとも約50%満たされている時、前記パッケージは分配のために傾け可能であり、これによって、分配のために分配角度に傾けられている時、前記顆粒状製品が、前記第一内側容積から前記流量調節通路を通って前記第二内側容積に入り、及び前記第二内側容積から前記分配通路を通って前記パッケージから流出し、並びに120度、150度、及び180度の分配角度で流量が測定及び計算される時、標準偏差が、各分配角度についての平均流量の約30%未満である、注ぎ口と、を有するパッケージ。 - 前記第一中空本体部材が口を更に含み、及び前記第二外側表面が前記口に固着されている、請求項1に記載のパッケージ。

- 前記第二中空本体部材が前記注ぎ口を備える、請求項1に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記流量調節通路の少なくとも一部が前記分配通路から遠位にある、請求項1に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記顆粒状製品が平均粒子径を有し、及び前記流量調節通路が幅を有し、及び前記幅が、前記平均粒子径より少なくとも約5倍広い、請求項1に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記第一中空本体部材と前記第二中空本体部材が別個である、請求項1に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記第二中空本体部材が、前記分配通路に対向する基底を更に含み、及び前記流量調節通路が前記基底まで延びる、請求項1に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記第二内側容積が、前記第一内側容積の約1%〜約25%である、請求項1に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記分配通路を取外し可能に覆うキャップを更に備える、請求項1に記載のパッケージ。
- 前記第一中空本体部材と前記第二中空本体部材が、相互に固着されている、請求項7に記載のパッケージ。
- 顆粒状製品をその中に更に含む、請求項1に記載のパッケージ。
- 顆粒状製品が顆粒状の洗剤である、請求項12に記載のパッケージ。
