本発明は、医療デバイスおよび方法に関する。より具体的には、本発明は椎間板プロテーゼに関する。
多くの例示的な椎間板プロテーゼが上に列挙される。特許文献1および特許文献2は、ディスク移植物を記載する。これは、対向するプレートと、それらプレートの間にコアとを備え、そのコアの上をそれらプレートはスライドし得る。このコアは、1つ以上の中心性の柱を受容し、これらの柱はプレートによって収容され、そしてコア中の中心開口部の反対の末端に位置する。このような配置は、プレートとコアとの間で利用可能な、負荷を負う領域を限定する。

- 請求項59に記載のプロテーゼディスクであって、前記周縁の制限構造は:
前記コアの周縁の少なくとも一部の上に延びる、環状構造;
前記上側プレートおよび前記下側プレートの一方の上のリング構造であって、該リング構造が該環状構造と係合し、そして保持する、リング構造;
を備える、プロテーゼディスク。 - 前記リング構造は突出部を規定するフランジを備え、そして前記コア上の前記環状構造のうちの少なくとも一部は該突出部の中へと延びて該コアと該フランジとの締り嵌めを提供する、請求項64に記載のプロテーゼディスク。
- 前記環状構造が、前記コアの側面外周の周りに連続して延びるリムを備え、該リムは前記フランジの内側の縁の幅よりも少なくともいくつかの位置でより大きな幅を有して前記締り嵌めを提供する、請求項65に記載のプロテーゼディスク。

を備える、プロテーゼディスク。 - 前記リップは前記溝の中へと延びて前記リング構造と前記コアとの間に締り嵌めを形成する、請求項68に記載のプロテーゼディスク。
- 前記上側プレートの外面および前記下側プレートの外面は、該外面と前記椎骨との取り付けを促進するために、少なくとも1つの表面形状を有する、請求項40に記載のプロテーゼディスク。

上側曲面および下側曲面を有する金属コア;ならびに

を備え、ここで該コアの回転中心は、該上側金属プレートおよび下側金属プレートに対して自由に動作する、プロテーゼディスク。 - 前記コアと前記プレートとの間の潤滑性流体の流動を促進するため、該コアの前記上側曲面および前記下側曲面の各々の上に、少なくとも1つの表面チャネルをさらに備える、請求項76に記載のプロテーゼディスク。

を包含し、ここで該コアは、該上側プレートおよび該下側プレートの各々の中の球面状空間の間に回転の動作中心を有して自由に動く、方法。 - 前記プレートが、少なくとも1つの周縁の抑止部材を使用して、前記コアの周縁の動作を抑制する、請求項86に記載の方法。
- 請求項86に記載の方法であって、ここで前記プレートの間に前記コアを配置する工程が、該コアの環状構造を、該プレートのうちの少なくとも一方の上のリング構造に通過させる工程を包含し、ここで該環状構造は、直径が該リング構造を通過するように寸法決めされる、方法。
