Abstract
【解決手段】エンジン36の動力が入力側ロータ28に伝達され、入力側ロータ28の回転速度が出力側ロータ18の回転速度より高くなると、入力側ロータ28のかご型導体30に誘導電流が発生し、この誘導電流と出力側ロータ18の永久磁石33の界磁束との電磁気相互作用により出力側ロータ18にトルクが作用して出力側ロータ18が回転駆動する。さらに、ステータ16のステータ巻線20に交流電流が流れることで発生する回転磁界と出力側ロータ18の永久磁石32の界磁束との電磁気相互作用によっても、出力側ロータ18にトルクを作用させることができ、出力側ロータ18を回転駆動することができる。その際には、ステータ16及び出力側ロータ18が同期モータとして機能する。

Claims (6)
- 原動機からの動力が伝達される入力側回転子と、
入力側回転子に対し相対回転可能であり、入力側回転子と電磁気的に結合することで入力側回転子からの動力が伝達可能な出力側回転子と、
出力側回転子と電磁気的に結合することで出力側回転子との間でエネルギーの授受を行うことが可能な固定子と、
を備え、
出力側回転子には、界磁束を発生する磁石が配設されており、
固定子には、前記界磁束との電磁気相互作用により出力側回転子にトルクを作用させるための回転磁界を発生可能な固定子導体が配設されており、
入力側回転子には、前記磁石との回転差の発生に伴って、前記界磁束との電磁気相互作用により出力側回転子にトルクを作用させるための誘導電流が流れる回転子導体が配設されている、動力伝達装置。 - 請求項1に記載の動力伝達装置であって、
入力側回転子と出力側回転子とを機械的に係合させることが可能な係合装置を備える、動力伝達装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の動力伝達装置であって、
前記回転子導体は、出力側回転子との距離を変化させる方向に移動可能な状態で入力側回転子に支持されている、動力伝達装置。 - 請求項3に記載の動力伝達装置であって、
前記回転子導体は、入力側回転子の回転速度の減少に応じて出力側回転子との距離を増大させるように移動可能な状態で入力側回転子に支持されている、動力伝達装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の動力伝達装置であって、
入力側回転子には、前記回転子導体を開放することが可能な開放機構が配設されている、動力伝達装置。 - 請求項5に記載の動力伝達装置であって、
前記開放機構は、出力側回転子の回転速度が入力側回転子の回転速度より高くなる場合に、前記回転子導体を開放する機構である、動力伝達装置。
