Abstract
【解決手段】複数の極性検知回路部8を備える。各極性検知回路部8は、電池の1つの接続端子と接続可能な検知端子6、検知回路9、正電圧導通回路10及び負電圧導通回路11を備える。各極性検知回路部の正電圧導通回路は、充電装置の正極供給ライン17に互いに並列に接続され、かつ各極性検知回路部の負電圧導通回路は、充電装置の負極供給ライン18に互いに並列に接続される。電池の正極2aに接続された極性検知回路部の検知回路が正電圧を検知して正電圧導通回路を導通させ、充電装置の正極供給ラインと正極に接続された検知端子6aとを相互に導通状態とし、かつ電池の負極2bに接続された極性検知回路部の検知回路が負電圧を検知して負電圧導通回路を導通させ、充電装置の負極供給ラインと負極に接続された検知端子6bとを相互に導通状態とする。

Claims (4)
- 複数の極性検知回路部を備えてなり、各極性検知回路部は、電池の各接続端子のうちの1つの接続端子と接続可能な検知端子と、前記検知端子に接続された検知回路と、前記検知回路と充電装置の正極とに接続された正電圧導通回路と、前記検知回路と前記充電装置の負極とに接続された負電圧導通回路とを備え、前記各極性検知回路部の正電圧導通回路は、前記充電装置の正極供給ラインに互いに並列に接続され、かつ前記各極性検知回路部の負電圧導通回路は、前記充電装置の負極供給ラインに互いに並列に接続され、
前記複数の極性検知回路部のうちの1つの検知端子が前記電池の正極接続端子に接続され、かつこの極性検知回路部を除く前記複数の極性検知回路部のうちの他の1つの検知端子が前記電池の負極接続端子に接続されると、前記正極接続端子に接続された極性検知回路部の検知回路が正電圧を検知して正電圧導通回路を駆動して導通させ、前記充電装置の正極供給ラインと前記正極接続端子に接続された検知端子とを相互に導通状態とし、かつ前記負極接続端子に接続された極性検知回路部の検知回路が負電圧を検知して負電圧導通回路を駆動して導通させ、前記充電装置の負極供給ラインと前記負極接続端子に接続された検知端子とを相互に導通状態とすることで充電回路が形成されることを特徴とする電池極性自動検知装置。 - 前記検知回路は、第1及び第2のコンパレータを含んで構成されると共に、前記検知端子が前記電池の正極接続端子に接続されると、前記第1のコンパレータの出力がオンし、かつ前記第2のコンパレータの出力がオフする一方、前記検知端子が前記電池の負極接続端子に接続されると、前記第2のコンパレータの出力がオンし、かつ前記第1のコンパレータの出力がオフするものであり、前記第1及び第2コンパレータが、トランジスタ、光カプラ、SCR及びMOSFETのうちより1つ選ばれた制御部材を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池極性自動検知装置。
- 前記正電圧導通回路及び前記負電圧導通回路は、MOSFET、リレー、トランジスタ及びSCRのうちより選ばれたスイッチ機能を備えた半導体部材で構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池極性自動検知装置。
- 前記複数の極性検知回路部のうちの数組または全てを統合してモジュールとしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池極性自動検知装置。
