Abstract
【解決手段】保護装置10は、保護用端子16および18間に接点形回路遮断素子としての感温ペレット型温度ヒューズ30を接続し、この感温ペレット型温度ヒューズ30と並列に非接点形回路遮断素子としての可溶合金型温度ヒューズ20を接続して構成する。各温度ヒューズの動作温度は、感温ペレット型温度ヒューズの動作温度が可溶合金型温度ヒューズの動作温度に比べ同等もしくは低く設定して使用され、それにより作動時、スパークやプラズマ放電が生じても、たとえば、可動接点等の溶着不具合など、スイッチング部材の開離トラブルを排除して安全確実な回路遮断する非復帰型保護装置が提供される。

Claims (7)
- 所定の動作条件で作動する接点部材を備えた接点形回路遮断素子を使用し、電源および負荷と直列に設けた一対の保護用端子間に接続する保護装置において、前記接点形回路遮断素子は可溶合金を備えた非接点形回路遮断素子と並列接続され、前記非接点形回路遮断素子を前記接点形回路遮断素子の動作条件に先んじて作動させるように設定したことを特徴とする保護装置。
- 前記電源および負荷は直流回路で構成され、前記接点形回路遮断素子は第1の動作温度で作動する可動接点部材を有する接点形温度ヒューズであり、前記非接点形回路遮断素子は前記第1の動作温度と同等もしくはそれより高い第2の動作温度で作動する非接点形温度ヒューズであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の保護装置。
- 前記一対の保護用端子間に接続されるそれぞれの前記温度ヒューズの抵抗値を内部抵抗とするとき、前記接点形温度ヒューズの内部抵抗(r1)は前記非接点形温度ヒューズの内部抵抗(r2)より小さく設定したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の保護装置。
- 前記温度ヒューズはその表面をチューブまたはコーティング被膜で絶縁したことを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の保護装置。
- 前記温度ヒューズは、前記保護用端子間で温度差のある場所に配置するとき、接点形温度ヒューズを高温側、非接点形温度ヒューズを低温側とし、前記接点形温度ヒューズを前記非接点形温度ヒューズに先立って作動させるようにしたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の保護装置。
- 前記接点形温度ヒューズは互いに並列接続した複数個からなり、通電電流の分散により許容電流を大きくしたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の保護装置。
- 前記非接点形温度ヒューズは絶縁材のモールド加工が施され、それにより動作を遅延させるようにしたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の保護装置。
