Abstract
【解決手段】鉛蓄電池のセル室内に極板群とともに、多孔部材8を配置する。この多孔部材は、多数の小室9が集合してなるとともに、隣接する前記小室間および前記小室と前記セル室との間に隙間10を有し、前記小室の容積を20〜40cm3とし、かつ、前記隙間を0.2〜0.8mm、好ましくは、0.2〜0.5mmとすることにより、セル室内に滞留した酸素・水素ガスへの引火と、これによる電槽、蓋の破損を抑制することができる。

Claims (3)
- セル室内に、極板群とともに多孔部材が配置され、
前記多孔部材は、多数の小室が集合してなるとともに、隣接する前記小室間および前記小室と前記セル室との間に隙間を有し、
前記小室の容積を20〜40cm3とし、かつ、前記隙間の隙間寸法を0.2〜0.8mmとしたことを特徴とする鉛蓄電池。 - 前記小室の形状が立方体または直方体である請求項1に記載の鉛蓄電池。
- 前記隙間寸法を0.2〜0.5mmとしたことを特徴とする請求項1もしくは2に記載の鉛蓄電池。
