Abstract
【解決手段】 内球面12に複数のトラック溝14を形成した外輪10と、外球面22に複数のトラック溝24を形成した内輪20と、外輪10と内輪20間に介在してトルクを伝達する複数のボール30と、外輪10と内輪20間に介在してボール30を保持するケージ40とを備え、外輪10のトラック溝14の開口側溝底をテーパ状にすると共に内輪20のトラック溝24の奥側溝底をテーパ状とし、最大作動角時に外輪10のトラック溝14から最も飛び出る位相にあるボール30の外輪10のトラック溝14との接触点Aをそのトラック溝14から外し、かつ、同時に3個以上のボール30の外輪10のトラック溝14との接触点がそのトラック溝14から外れない範囲で、外輪10のトラック溝14を軸方向に短くする。

Claims (6)
- 内球面に複数のトラック溝を円周方向等間隔に軸方向に沿って開口端に向けて形成した外側継手部材と、外球面に前記外側継手部材のトラック溝と対をなす複数のトラック溝を円周方向等間隔に軸方向に沿って形成した内側継手部材と、前記外側継手部材と内側継手部材の両トラック溝間に介在してトルクを伝達する複数のボールと、外側継手部材の内球面と内側継手部材の外球面との間に介在してボールを保持するケージとを備え、
前記ケージの外球面中心と内球面中心は継手中心に対して軸方向反対側にオフセットされ、ケージの縦断面において、外側継手部材の開口端側を厚肉にすると共にその反開口端側を薄肉にし、
前記外側継手部材のトラック溝の曲率中心は外側継手部材の内球面中心に対して、かつ、内側継手部材のトラック溝の曲率中心は内側継手部材の外球面中心に対して軸方向反対側にオフセットされ、前記外側継手部材のトラック溝の開口端側溝底を、前記開口端に向けて直線的に拡径したテーパ状にすると共に、前記内側継手部材のトラック溝の反開口端側溝底を、その反開口端側に向けて直線的に拡径したテーパ状とし、
最大作動角時に外側継手部材のトラック溝から最も飛び出る位相にあるボールの少なくとも前記外側継手部材のトラック溝との接触点をそのトラック溝から外し、かつ、同時に3個以上のボールの少なくとも前記外側継手部材のトラック溝との接触点がそのトラック溝から外れない範囲で、外側継手部材のトラック溝を軸方向に短くしたことを特徴とする固定式等速自在継手。 - 前記ケージの外球面の開口側端部を軸方向に向けて延在させ、ケージの内球面の開口側端部を外球面の開口側端部に向けて拡径するテーパ状とした請求項1に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記ケージの内球面の開口側端部のテーパ角度を、外側継手部材と内側継手部材がなす最大作動角の半分以上とした請求項2に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記外側継手部材および内側継手部材の両トラック溝のテーパ角度の上限値を12°とした請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記ケージの外球面中心と内球面中心とのケージオフセット量fと、作動角0°時における外側継手部材のトラック溝の曲率中心または内側継手部材のトラック溝の曲率中心とボール中心との距離PCRとの比の値f/PCRが0より大きく、かつ、0.12以下である請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
- 前記ボールの個数を6個あるいは8個とした請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の固定式等速自在継手。
