Abstract
【解決手段】シャンク部10とシャンク部10よりも小径の加工部とを備え、内周面が曲面である開口部440を有する被加工体400に対して、上面部430から開口部440に達する貫通孔450aを形成すると共に、開口部440の内周面における第二の加工予定部460を加工するドリル100であって、加工部は、先端領域に切刃部32と周囲に切刃部32によって加工された切屑を外部に排出する切屑排出溝33を有する溝部30と、溝部30とシャンク部10との間に略柱状の形状をなし、切刃部32を開口部440の内周面における第二の加工予定部460に導くセルフガイド部20とを備えるものである。

Claims (5)
- シャンク部と当該シャンク部よりも小径の加工部とを備え、内周面が曲面である開口部を有する被加工体に対して、一表面から前記開口部に達する貫通孔を形成すると共に、前記開口部の内周面における前記貫通孔に対応する位置を加工する刃具であって、
前記加工部は、先端領域に切刃部と周囲に当該切刃部によって加工された切屑を外部に排出する切屑排出溝を有する溝部と、
前記溝部と前記シャンク部との間に略柱状の形状をなし、前記切刃部を前記開口部の内周面における前記貫通孔に対応する位置に導くセルフガイド部と、
を備えることを特徴とする刃具。 - 前記溝部は、前記被加工体の被加工長さに対応する長さであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の刃具。
- 前記切刃部は、略平坦面であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の刃具。
- 前記シャンク部の直径は、前記加工部の直径の略2倍であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の刃具。
- シャンク部と当該シャンク部よりも小径の加工部とを備え、前記加工部が先端領域に切刃部と周囲に当該切刃部によって加工された切屑を外部に排出する切屑排出溝とを有する溝部と、前記溝部と前記シャンク部との間に略柱状の形状をなし、前記切刃部を前記開口部の内周面における前記貫通孔に対応する位置に導くセルフガイド部とを備える刃具を用いて、内周面が曲面である開口部を有した被加工体を加工する方法であって、
前記溝部にて前記被加工体における一表面から前記開口部に達する貫通孔を形成する第一工程と、
前記第一工程に連続して行われるものであり、前記加工部における前記セルフガイド部が前記貫通孔に配置された状態で前記溝部にて前記開口部の内周面における前記貫通孔に対応する部位を加工する第二工程と、
を備えることを特徴とする刃具を用いた加工方法。
