Claims (5)

  1. 画像データがシートに印刷される際に第１の面積率より低く、かつ、第２の面積率より高い面積率でドットが打たれる領域を特定する特定手段と、
    前記シート上の前記特定手段で特定された領域から紙指紋情報を取得する取得手段とを有し、
    前記第１の面積率は、前記第２の面積率より高いことを特徴とする画像処理装置。
  2. 前記特定手段は、前記シートを均等分割した際の境界線から所定の距離以上離れた領域の中から、前記第１の面積率より低く、かつ、前記第２の面積率より高い面積率でドットが打たれる領域を特定することを特徴とする請求項１記載の画像処理装置。
  3. 前記特定手段は、前記シートの端から所定の距離以上離れた領域の中から、前記第１の面積率より低く、かつ、前記第２の面積率より高い面積率でドットが打たれる領域を特定することを特徴とする請求項１に記載の画像処理装置。
  4. 特定手段が、画像データがシートに印刷される際に第１の面積率より低く、かつ、第２の面積率より高い面積率でドットが打たれる領域を特定する特定工程と、
    取得手段が、前記シート上の前記特定工程で特定された領域から紙指紋情報を取得する取得工程とを有し、
    前記第１の面積率は、前記第２の面積率より高いことを特徴とする画像処理装置の制御方法。
  5. 請求項４に記載の制御方法の各工程をコンピュータに実行させるためのプログラム。
