Abstract
【解決手段】本発明による方法は、光子が出現する時間(ti)を決定するステップと、所定の一連のパルス(w)に対して、関数s(w)=Sie−jwti、ここで、e−jwti=coswti+sinwi、を計算し、総ての受信パルスに渡る合計を計算するステップと、関数s(w)の絶対値の2乗S(w)を決定するステップと、所定の一連の時間間隔のパワースペクトラムS(w)のフーリエ変換g(τ)を計算するステップとを含む。

と計算する相関器6により受信される。ここで、τは任意の時間間隔であり、<>は、時間平均を意味する。
上述した“2重フーリエ変換”法による自己相関関数の決定においては、まず、所定範囲のパルス値(w)から信号i(t)のパワースペクトラムS(w)の計算を行う。パワースペクトラムS(w)は、信号i(t)のフーリエ変換s(w)の絶対値の2乗に等しい。パルスwに対して、s(w)は、
本発明は、一様分配された時間間隔だけでなく、総ての入射光子に対してフーリエ変換計算を実行する。従来からの先入観に反し、この方法が計算ステップ数を減少させ、正確な結果を与えることを説明する。

Claims (6)
- パルスが生じる時間(ti)は、参照時間、又は、参照クロック(CLK)のサイクル数(ni)で表す先行するパルスとの間隔により決定する請求項1に記載の方法。
- パルスは、光子列を受信する受光器の出力信号である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 関数s(w)の計算は、一連の対数分布した時間間隔で実行する請求項2に記載の方法。
- フーリエ変換g(τ)の計算は、一連の対数分布したパルスに対して実行する請求項2に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の方法を実行する集積回路上に作成される相関器。
