Claims (35)
- ワイヤガイドと連結されるように作られた連結領域を有する管状部材を備えている細長い医療装置と共に使用するための細長い係合部材であって、前記連結領域は、前記管状部材の遠位端付近に配置されている、細長い係合部材において、
前記細長い係合部材は、前記細長い医療装置に連結されているワイヤガイドと係合し、これを解放可能に固定し、前記ワイヤガイドと前記細長い医療装置の間の相対的な動きを防止するように作られている、細長い係合部材。 - 前記細長い係合部材は、細長いシャフトを備えており、前記細長いシャフトは、前記ワイヤガイドの外表面及び前記管状部材内の通路の内壁と摩擦係合するように作られた遠位端を有している、請求項1に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記シャフトの遠位端は、前記管状部材の通路内に配置されている前記ワイヤガイドの一部と、係合するように作られている、請求項2に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記細長いシャフトは、前記細長い医療装置の近位側ポートに解放可能に係合するように作られている近位端を更に備えている、請求項2に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記細長いシャフトは、物理的特性が異なる複数のシャフト部分を備えている、請求項2に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記複数のシャフト部分は複数の材料から構成されている、請求項5に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記複数のシャフト部分は複数の断面積を備えている、請求項5に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記細長いシャフトは、その遠位端に向けて断面が小さくなっていくテーパ部を備えている、請求項2に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記細長いシャフトは、円形でない断面を備えている、請求項2に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記細長いシャフトの前記円形でない断面は、前記管状部材の対応する形状を有する通路を通って滑動可能に伸張するように作られている、請求項9に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記細長いシャフトは、その遠位端付近に配置された放射線不透過性マーカーを備えている、請求項2に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記細長い係合部材は係留紐を備えており、前記係留紐は、前記ワイヤガイドの周囲を少なくとも部分的には取り巻いて前記ワイヤガイドを前記管状部材の一部と摩擦係合させるのに十分な横方向の力を加えることができるように作られた遠位側ループを有している、請求項1に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記係留紐は、前記細長い医療装置の前記管状部材内の通路を通過するように作られている、請求項12に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記係留紐は、前記細長い医療装置の近位側ポートと解放可能に係合するように作られた近位端部分を更に備えている、請求項13に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記細長い医療装置は、第1孔、第2孔、及び前記第1孔と第2孔の間に配置された内壁を備えており、更に、前記細長い係合部材は、前記第2孔内に配置されるように作られた細長いシャフトを備えており、前記細長いシャフトは前記内壁と係合してこれを前記第1孔の中へと変位させるように作られた遠位端部分を有しており、前記内壁は、そのように変位すると、前記ワイヤガイドの外表面と係合する、請求項1に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記第2孔は、その一部に沿って断面が小さくなっていく箇所を備えており、前記断面が小さくなっていく箇所は、前記細長いシャフトの前記遠位端部分と係合するように作られており、前記係合によって前記内壁は前記第1孔の中へと変位する、請求項15に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 前記細長いシャフトの前記遠位端部分は、前記内壁と係合してこれを前記第1孔の中へと変位させるための拡張可能部材を備えている、請求項15に記載の細長い係合部材。
- 患者の身体内腔内の施術部位に複数の医療装置を導入するためのシステムにおいて、
遠位端と近位端の間を伸張する管状シャフトを備えている細長い医療装置であって、前記管状シャフトの少なくとも一部を貫通して孔が伸張しており、前記孔は遠位側開口部と近位側開口部の間を伸張する連結領域を備えている、細長い医療装置と、
遠位端と近位端の間を伸張するシャフトを備えているワイヤガイドであって、前記シャフトは、前記細長い医療装置の前記孔を通って滑動可能に伸張するように作られている、ワイヤガイドと、
細長い係合部材と、を備えており、
前記ワイヤガイドは、連結位置から連結解除位置まで動かすことができ、前記ワイヤガイドは、前記連結位置にあるときには前記細長い医療装置の前記連結領域を通って伸張しており、前記連結解除位置にあるときには前記細長い医療装置の前記連結領域を通って伸張しておらず、
前記細長い係合部材は、前記ワイヤガイドと係合してこれを前記連結位置に解放可能に固定し、前記ワイヤガイドと前記細長い医療装置の間の相対的な動きを防止するように作られている、システム。 - 前記細長い係合部材は、細長いシャフトを備えており、前記細長いシャフトは、前記ワイヤガイドの外表面及び前記管状シャフトの内壁と、前記細長い医療装置の前記連結領域内で摩擦係合するように作られた遠位端を有している、請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記シャフトの前記遠位端は、前記ワイヤガイドの、前記細長い医療装置の前記連結領域の孔内に配置されている部分と係合するように作られている、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長いシャフトは、前記細長い医療装置の近位側ポートと解放可能に係合するように作られている近位端を更に備えており、前記近位側ポートは、前記近位側開口部から間隔を開けその近位側に配置されている、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長いシャフトは、物理的特性が異なる複数のシャフト部分を備えている、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のシャフト部分は複数の材料を備えている、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数のシャフト部分は複数の断面積を含んでいる、請求項22に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長いシャフトは、その遠位端に向けて断面が小さくなっていくテーパ部を備えている、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長いシャフトは円形でない断面を備えている、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い医療装置の前記孔は、前記細長いシャフトの断面に対応する円形でない断面を備えている、請求項26に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長いシャフトは、その遠位端付近に配置された放射線不透過性マーカーを備えている、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い係合部材は係留紐を備えており、前記係留紐は、前記ワイヤガイドの周囲を少なくとも部分的には取り巻いて前記ワイヤガイドを前記細長い医療装置の前記管状シャフトの一部と摩擦係合させるのに十分な横方向の力を加えることができるように作られた遠位側ループを有している、請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記係留紐は、前記細長い医療装置の前記管状シャフトの前記孔を通過するように作られている、請求項29に記載のシステム。
- 前記係留紐は、前記細長い医療装置の近位側ポートと解放可能に係合するように作られている近位端部分を更に備えており、前記近位側ポートは、前記近位側開口部から間隔を開けその近位側に配置されている、請求項30に記載のシステム。
- 複数の医療装置を、患者の身体内腔内の施術部位に導入するための方法において、
a)遠位部と、近位部と、中を通って伸張する孔とを有する管状シャフトを備えている細長い医療装置であって、前記遠位部が連結領域を備えている、細長い医療装置を用意する段階と、
b)遠位端と近位端の間を伸張するワイヤガイドシャフトを備えているワイヤガイドを用意する段階と、
c)遠位端部分と近位端部分とを有する細長い係合部材を用意する段階と、
d)前記ワイヤガイドを前記細長い医療装置の前記連結領域に係合させることにより、前記ワイヤガイドを前記細長い医療装置に解放可能に連結する段階と、
e)前記ワイヤガイドを前記細長い係合部材と係合させ、前記ワイヤガイドを前記連結位置に解放可能に固定し、前記ワイヤガイドと前記細長い医療装置の間の相対的な動きを防止する段階と、
f)前記細長い医療装置と、前記ワイヤガイドと、前記細長い係合部材を施術部位まで前進させる段階と、から成る方法。 - 前記細長い係合部材は細長いシャフトを備えており、前記ワイヤガイドを前記細長い係合部材と係合させる段階は、前記ワイヤガイドの、前記細長い医療装置の前記連結領域内に配置されている部分を、前記細長い係合部材の前記シャフトの前記遠位端部分と摩擦係合させる段階を含んでいる、請求項32に記載の方法。
- 前記細長い係合部材は細長いシャフトを備えており、前記ワイヤガイドを前記細長い係合部材と係合させる段階は、前記細長い係合部材の前記シャフトを、前記細長い医療装置の前記孔を通して遠位方向に前進させる段階を含んでいる、請求項32に記載の方法。
- 前記細長い係合部材は前記遠位端部分にループを有する係留紐を備えており、前記ワイヤガイドを前記細長い係合部材と係合させる段階は、前記ワイヤガイドを前記細長い係合部材のループと解放可能に係合させて前記ワイヤガイドを前記管状シャフトの一部と摩擦係合させるのに十分な横方向の力を加える段階を含んでいる、請求項32に記載の方法。
