Abstract
Description
Claims (19)
- 粉末金属物品を製造方法であって、
複数の歯を有する突き固めた粉末金属プレフォーム材を焼結し、
歯形断面がプレフォーム材の歯と係合して高密度化する、プレフォーム材の軸方向移動方向において断面の少なくとも先行部分にわたる拡幅領域を有する第1のダイスを介して粉末金属プレフォーム材を軸方向に強制的に移動させるステップより成る方法。 - プレフォーム材の歯の間を延びる案内歯を有する第1のスペーサにより粉末金属プレフォーム材を第1のダイスと係合するように案内するステップを含む請求項1の方法。
- 第1のダイスの歯形断面を螺旋状に形成するステップを含む請求項2の方法。
- 第1のスペーサの案内歯を螺旋状に形成するステップを含む請求項3の方法。
- ダイスを介する軸方向移動の間プレフォーム材の歯の先端部直径を実質的に一定の値に維持するステップを含む請求項3の方法。
- プレフォーム材を拡幅領域から歯形断面により画定される縮幅領域へ通過させるステップを含む請求項3の方法。
- 複数の軸方向に並んだスペーサと、それぞれの歯形断面がプレフォーム材の歯を段階的にさらに高密度化するように構成されたダイスとを用意するステップを含む請求項3の方法。
- 複数のダイスのそれぞれの歯形断面及びスペーサのそれぞれの案内歯をプレフォーム材の歯の螺旋構造に対応する共通の螺旋軸に沿って整列させ、
複数のダイスのそれぞれの歯形断面をプレフォーム材の歯を段階的に高密度化するように順次狭くなるように形成するステップを含む請求項7の方法。 - 粉末金属の焼結済みハスバ歯車のプレフォーム材の歯を高密度化する装置であって、
軸方向に延びる螺旋状の歯を有する少なくとも1つの案内部材と、
螺旋状の歯が少なくとも1つの案内部材の螺旋状の歯に対して軸方向に次々に整列した少なくとも1つの高密度化ダイスとより成り、高密度化ダイスの螺旋状の歯の幅は軸方向において変化し、案内部材の隣接する螺旋状の歯の間の空間よりも狭い隣接する歯の間にくびれた領域を画定する高密度化装置。 - 少なくとも1つの案内部材はさらに複数の案内部材であり、少なくとも1つの高密度化ダイスはさらに複数の高密度化ダイスであり、複数の案内部材及び複数の高密度化ダイスは軸方向に交互に配置される請求項9の装置。
- 複数の高密度化ダイスによりそれぞれ画定される狭い領域はプレフォーム材を段階的に高密度化するために段階的に小さくなる請求項10の装置。
- 少なくとも1つの高密度化ダイスは少なくとも1つの案内部材に隣接する頂面を有し、少なくとも1つの高密度化ダイスの螺旋状の歯はそれぞれ頂面と協働して丸くなるようにまたは面取り状に画定されている請求項9の装置。
- 少なくとも1つの高密度化ダイスの螺旋状の歯はそれぞれ軸方向の長さと、軸方向の長さ方向において実質的に一定の高さとを画定する請求項9の装置。
- くびれた部分は長さ方向の実質的に中心に位置する請求項13の装置。
- 粉末金属物品を製造するダイスであって、
頂面と、
頂面から離隔した底面と、
直径を有し、頂面と底面の間を延びるアパチャーと、
頂面と底面の間をアパチャーから半径方向外方に延びる複数の溝とより成り、複数の溝はそれぞれ長さと、長さ方向に変化する幅とを有するダイス。 - 各溝は長さ方向において砂時計形の部分を画定する請求項15のダイス。
- 砂時計形部分は頂面と底面の間でそれらから等距離にある請求項16のダイス。
- 溝は螺旋状である請求項15のダイス。
- 直径は頂面と底面の間で実質的に一定である請求項15のダイス。
